I made the decision to quit smoking cigarettes back in December (2014). Happy to say I've been tobacco free for about two months now. I first tried a cig-a-like. Yuck! Didn't like it and almost stuck with cigarettes. But, I was determined. So then, after talking to a very nice and knowledgeable person at a B&M store, I bought a Kangertech emow kit. Big difference! My question is, are all eGo type devices pretty much the same, as far as battery life and coil life are concerned? I like the Kangertech, primarily because of it's similarity in size and shape to a cigar. I haven't been at this long enough yet to decide if I want to go to a box mod. So, at least for the foreseeable future, I'm sticking with my Kangertech. However, if there's a company that makes a longer lasting battery, that is, one that lasts more than 8 hours on a charge, and a coil that lasts more than 4 or 5 days before needing replacement, I'd like to know. I've started looking at the variable voltage batteries, such as the Kangertech evod and the evod mega. I like the fact that with the larger batteries, I can also use a larger tank, which means fewer refills. But so far, aside from people's personal preferences, I'm not finding any huge difference in the various brands of eGo's in general. From a techie standpoint, it's like trying to compare different brands of cd players. Should I just stick with Kangertech, and go from the emow to the evod, or is there a brand that will give me more for my money? One thing I should add is, the e liquids I purchase are typically 70/30, with 18mg of nicotine.
