Question: What Soldering Iron???????????????????

Never purchased a soldering iron. tips on what to buy anyone????
i figure ill start with a cheap mod kit or two and see but i need an soldering iron.

Might want to try this one out from madvapes. Heard quite a few people say they were happy with it. They have lots of mod parts also.

I'd go with a 40W from RS. And grab a spare tip. The most important thing is tip maintenance. When the tip is clean and tins well life is so much easier. Never put it away dirty or un-tinned.
