Questions about a good setting on istick

So I made a thread about upgrading a battery being worth it. I went against what I said and Thursday my istick will arrive. It seemed like such a good deal before I even have it I am wondering.

What's a good setting for an aerotank with 75/25 juice and 1.5 coils?

Yes I know it's opinionated but I am wondering what will work as far as taste and not frying my liquid thanks.

Now hurry up usps.

Be careful with the threads, don't over-tighten. Start low and work your way up to what you like.

More than likely you'll find a 1.5Ω coil will not offer a cool enough vape on the iStick. With a Nautilus bvc coil I use 1.8Ω coils. With a Protank I use a 2.5Ω coils. I really believe you'll find 1.5Ω too low resistance for use on the iStick.

Geezus, I wouldn't vape an Aerotank V2 on the iStick at 15W. Start at the lowest wattage and work your way up. I've stopped using my Aerotank V2s on the iStick because no matter how low the voltage/wattage, I get a burnt taste if I draw longer than 3 seconds.

I vaped the Nautilus mini on the iStick with a 1.6 ohm coil and it heated up too quick and produced too hot of a vape.

Wife has an Istick and uses Kanger mini 3's. Had to up her ohms on coils to 1.8 and she runs it on 3 volts. Any thing higher burns the juice. They run a lot hot than they say. Good units though.

i use 1.8 bvcs in my naut mini and between 8 and 10 watts seem to be the sweet spots.

crap! I just bought mine for my nautilus mini and they're 1.6bvc replacement coils... will I have a problem with that? I'm using the Istick as well.

Should be just fine, just start at the bottom as far as settings go. I use 1.6 BVC's exclusively (not 1.8) and they run just fine with the juice I use on my iStick. (My juice prefs tend to be 50/50 PG/VG) I only use voltage mode because the wattage mode is more unreliable. 3.6v right now with 50/50 apple pie juice, no problems at 1.6ohms.

You won't have a problem, I just found them to be too intense for my taste. Start low and slowly work your way up. I like 1.5/1.6 ohm coils, I've just found them to be too intense on the istick. I have (4) 1.6 ohm coils thag I'll use with a future mod (IPV Mini, MVP 3?). The 1.6 coil had a much shorter lifespan than the 1.8 coils.

Is 1.5 really unusable or just not favorable. I just bought a pack of ****ing coils.

Unfavorable for myself, not unusable. If you're referring to the Kanger Aerotank dual coils, use the lowest setting to start and work your way up. I've not run an Aerotank on the iStick with a 1.5u coil, only 1.8.

Thanks glad I don't have to buy a new pack next time though I will go 1.8.

I use 1.8 coils in my Aerotank v1 & Genintank both on isticks. I use 50/50 juice. One is at 9.0W & the other is at 8.5W.

My mini-nautilus (w/1.8 ohm coil) is at 11.0W.

I started at the lowest wattage & after the wick was broken in moved up according to taste & desired vapor & heat level.

each of my juices tends to have it's own setting..like with Queenside right now I"m at 3.8 & 13.1 watts with a 1.0 ohm coils (my preferred) with a V2.

it's another subjective thing..as they said start at 3.0vv and work your way up to what give YOU the best vape.
