Well, a few questions since I am quite confused by the solubility and all on the Perfumer's Apprentice website.

1: What kind ( or all ) of the flavors sold on the website are suitable for DIY liquid? For example, the Menthol& Mint section on it's official website have different types of flavors such as Creme de Menthe Flavor (water soluble), Eucalyptus Menthol (slightly soluble), pure menthol crystals, menthol liquid (Pure blend of menthol crystals and food grade alcohol).

2: Are flavors with alcohol based suitable for DIYing liquid AND, does not pose any risk to health.

3: When DIYing my own liquid, am I allowed to add as much flavoring as I like?

1. As long as it's in the Flavors Apprentice section, it's good to go.

2. Yes they are suitable. Pure ethanol is sometime used as a diluent for the the concentrated version of flavors. However, these flavors are not Kosher or Halal due to the presence of alcohol.

3. Yes you can add as much as you want but the results may not be to your liking. For TPA flavors, start with 1:9 ratio. 1 part flavor to 9 parts of PG + VG + whatever you wan to put. Max try not to exceed 20% for single flavor juice.

4. WHen buying VG, make sure it is plant based as these are usually Kosher. Actually so far I have not seen non-Kosher VG.

5. For PG & VG, get minimum cosmetics grade which is one grade lower than BP or USP. BP = British Pharmacopoeia, USP = United States Pharmacopoeia.
