Questions about eGo Dual Coil Cartomizer

Hi--I just got my new kit, and I am so happy with it--quit smoking real cigs immediately!

One of the three cartomizers the kit came with started tasting really nasty, like it was burnt, after just a few hours. The other two have been fine. How long does a cartomizer last? Is there anything I can do to fix the one that tastes like burnt stuff?

Also, I find that once I fill a cart with 50 drops or so, when I go to top it off the next day, there's a lot of leaking. I've been filling by just dripping juice into the cart at an angle, down the sides of the tube. Would a syringe work better? I know it's supposed to hold a lot more than this.

Hi dharma duck!

With my very brief experience, I've found that a burning taste generally means the carto needs a refill. Does it still taste that way after topping it off?

Also, are you using the same juice in all 3 cartos?

Hi DharmaDuck and welcome to ECF.
You could wash out the car to buy holding it under a hot running tap for awhile blow it out and repeat two or three more times. Be careful not to burn your fingers( as I once did)
Let the car to dry for a couple of days, fill 'er up and try it out. This actually worked for me on a few occasions.

As for over filling , once the car to is broke in it seems to hold more liquid. I usually fill until the top of the car to looks a little wet. I still overfill sometimes and I,be been vaping for over a year now. I usually give the car to a little sling over a towel to get rid of eccess liquid or blow it out enough to keep it from leaking.
