Hi everyone!

I joined the forum yesterday and already received tons of feedback. I'm also so impulsive I went ahead and bought an MVP2 and a Nautilus at my local store yesterday afternoon. So far, I love it!

The next thing I want to spend all of my money on is eliquid! I am thinking about trying out Alice in Vapeland because my starter juices are almost out, but I have some questions! How do I go about trying all of the different flavors if I get a sample pack? Do I have to change tanks every time or can I wash out my Nautilus or iClear 30? Or do I just finish up the juice I have in the tank and then refill it? Do I have to change our parts to keep the juices from melding together?

Help me out pleeease! :vapor:

Congrats on the MVP and Nautilus... I do not think you will be disappointed in your purchase!! :D

Check out Welcome to Giant Vapes but be warned... The Hill Giant will take ALL of your money!!
They carry a lot of high end juice brands, Alice in Vapeland, Five Pawns, Suicide Bunny just to name a few...

As for your question about testing flavors, check out this link...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/the-ocelot/4005-drip-drip-drip-sound-dripping.html

You can pick up one of those cheap 510 dripping setups talked about there online... screw it onto your shiny new MVP and taste away!!

It's gonna be hard to taste test juice in the Nautilus... you could partially fill it and vape, then repeat with a new flavor... but you're gonna have some cross-over. And any really strong flavors are gonna hang around a long time!

Finding the e-liquids you like I think was the hardest part of vaping (at least for me, I really seem to dislike most e-liquid flavours). If you're lucky enough to live in a place with brick and mortar vape shops, most of them allow you to sample the liquids they carry.. I'm not so lucky as I seem to be in a vaping dead zone, I have never seen another vaper in the wild around here.

Thank you Kaezziel!!!! I was thinking about dripping and was really confused, but that was really helpful! I will have to try it!

Griff, my vapor shop does let us sample. Luckily we have lots of vapers in my town. Unfortunately none of the flavors I've tried are that great. I started with a cinnamon flavor and a cigar type flavor. I liked em at the store, but once I started vaping them it was kinda gross. Then I got a minty mojito flavor and it's pretty good, but kind of plasticy fake tasting. I just want to try everything!!!

besides finding your perfect vape device finding your favorite ejuices is the biggest and sometimes the hardest thing to do , you can and will spend lots of money over time searching for your all day vape , but its also one of the most exciting experiences you will have as a vaper whether its looking online or anticipation on waiting for vape mail , one thing you might invest in is a few standard 510 atomizers you can use to drip some of your new juices to see if their gold or crap b4 you go filling your tank with a load of manure , you can either rinse them out or drip some plain vg liquid and blow it out to remove previous flavors , good luck and enjoy

I have a few different tanks I play with when it comes to flavor tasting. They tend to be small, inexpensive ones (Kangertech Protank 3 and EVO) but I always opt for the glass versions. I keep my nice tank for my all day vape, and just swap them out occasionally if I want a different flavor. That really does make things easier.

Have you tried the Alice in Vapeland yet? I have a bottle of their Mystic Mandalime and I don't know why, but that juice BURNS. I mean burns as in hurts to vape. The flavor is pretty solid, but afterwards it like my throat and sinuses are on fire. I thought it was an allergic reaction, but my husband took a puff and the same thing happened to him. So weird. It's only at 11mg and was with a fresh coil in a perfectly clean tank. My all day vape is 12mg. No idea why it happens but I'm going to try the other flavors and really hope it's not something I experience across the board.

Thanks for all the replies. I actually just returned my Nautilus because it turned out to be COUNTERFEIT. It wasn't producing a lot of vapor and I looked up what might be the problem. First hits I got were people saying to check authenticity code online. Turns out... "The security code (0290243403368683) you searched has been used.
This security code has been checked 2581 times on Aspire website, and be ware of imitations." Wooooops! At least I was able to return it to my local store. Dunno if they were duped or what. But the guy acted like I was crazy and made me feel stupid when he was able to vape it no problem.

Oh well! Now I have an extra $40 to spend towards dripping. Don't think I'll be getting another Nautilus now. LOL

Remember too, if you have recently quit (or are still smoking cigarettes) your taste is not 'real' and it will change. Go slow. You'll be surprised at how your taste buds change over the next few weeks if you have completely quit. If you haven't completely quit stinkies yet, you aren't getting the actual flavor you think you are. Usually stronger flavors tend to be better for new vapers or those that use both cigarettes and pvs because they can overcome dull taste senses.

If Mandalime is as it sounds, a combination of citrus-y flavours they seem to carry an acidic throat hit, not unlike the throat hit on eating a lime!

I have some straight lime 100% VG, 0% nic e-juice and it stings my throat in a dripper.

It's just about doable in a protank or similar as they take the edge off the acidity, as does the high VG concentration.

I've found that fireball type juices - cinnamon and/or chilli are the same for giving a raspy throat even at low or 0% nicotine. Each to their own, but most definitely not for me.

btw Kiele; A lot of bricks and mortar stores, dare I say most even, carry clones. That is they look like originals, sometimes they are perfect 1:1 ratio copies. They are however, not genuine.

The price of a genuine mod (battery) tends to exceed £100 with complex RBA's like the Rose V2 costing in the same price range.

Everybody has their stance on clones, but generally speaking the quality will be considerably reduced compared to the original.

On the flip side, there are waiting lists for months for some mods and atties and others are limited editions etc.

The long and the short of it is that the Chinese started to produce copies of high end hardware for their own domestic market and it has made it's way here and spread like wildfire. It is unlikely you would be able to purchase a real high end mod or high end atty at your local vape store, however outraged the manager may seem!

Get a new Nautilus from here and you'll KNOW that it's authentic...
Aspire Nautilus Tank Clearomizer

Sorry to hear that you got ripped off, kiele... that sucks! I mean, it's one thing if you bought a clone and you knew it was a clone at the time (and paid clone prices), but $40 for a clone when the original is the same price?!? That's total BS... at least they took it back :)

you can do whatever your budget will allow you to do, if you just have the two tanks, you can wash them out when you've got different flavors (I did the sample pack from Alice in Vapeland too) finish that, and washed it all out, or you can wash the glass part, shake it out (not the coil and post) and fill it with another flavor and after a few puffs (unless it's a blueberry, chocolate or other flavors that linger (I have little jewelry clear ziplocks for those coils after cleaned labeled for the flavor they go with)

or if you've got four or five you like *(I've got six) different tanks going with those "dedicated" ones, and then two for "sampling" *lol* (and those I wash out after three or four tankfulls those Iclears get gunked up pretty badly, with those threads, so the resistance went up I cleaned them, but opted out of using them and have since given them away one each came with our MVP's (Paul they're in a box, I just need to get over to the post office!) *lol*

good luck!!:vapor:
