I just got my shipping confirmation on my Silver/Black Reo Grand and I want to be prepared for it's arrival. That being said, and since this is my first bottom feeder, I have a few questions.

    1) What is the best 510 atomizer to use for 3.7v

    2) Is there an instructional vid on how to properly use a bottom feeder?

    3) Are there any dos/don'ts that I should be aware of?

    4) Best batteries for 3.7v (currently have Ultrafire 18650 2400 mAh protected)

    Thank you for your assistance

    1) What is the best 510 atomizer to use for 3.7v

There is no "best" but Cisco spec 510's from avidvaper.com have a loyal following. ikenvape attys are also good. vaporkings.com sells attys in bulk for very decent prices. 2.0 Ω is a good starting point if you haven't used LR attys yet.

    2) Is there an instructional vid on how to properly use a bottom feeder?

Lots of review videos cover how to use Reo mods.

    3) Are there any dos/don'ts that I should be aware of?

Not many, but here's some good reading:

    AW IMR LiMN (red label)

Congrats on your Reo! You'll love it.

    2) Is there an instructional vid on how to properly use a bottom feeder?

I've watched a lot of vids and none of them really cover this very well. There's plenty of "squeeze the bottle, hit the button and vape", but nothing I've found really explains how it works. Since there's no tube sticking up into the atomizer, how does the juice get to the coil? The connector doesn't look like it will completely seal enough against the bottom of the atty to force the juice all the way up. Do you have to suck it from the well into the atty? Is it magic?

I have a Mini en route and am curious to know how it feeds. It will help me understand how to use it better.

It is rather a mystery how the juice get to the perfect spot. It appears to just go up the battery hole.

You can blind juice it by slightly sucking on your drip tip as you squeeze. As soon as you feel tension you stop pressing the bottle and you get a perfect drip everytime. Nothing really makes it's way into the well. This works well all the time and particularly well in the dark and when you are using cartomizers so you don't flood it.

The bottom feeder/Reo system is so simple and intuitive, you don't need to worry about how to videos. It's easy care free dripping/vaping. Fill a juice bottle, screw it on, put in your battery and you're off vaping for the day without doing anything until the battery needs changing.

I've only had my Grand since Thursdays and I feel like a 4 year old with a juice box. I can't put this thing down.

The juice delivery system Rob uses actually is exceptional in my opinion. The way the juice runs from the juice bottle up the tube he uses is really sweet with no leaking issues and runs very smoothly, once it hits the top hole of the 510 connection it floods that valley and when you take a pull it really brings up however much you want to pull into the Atty or if you keep squeezing the bottle it then floods the overflow cup and you see what is there. So you can really use it either way by squanking the bottle and vaping at the same time to get a feel for the flow or just squank the bottle till you have some juice in the overflow well and vape that up into your Atty, I prefer the feed and fire at the same time method, you actually feel and here just the right amount of juice go into your Atty and know exactly when to stop pushing the bottle, it also doesn't really take as much juice as many think it does to get your Atty wet enough to vape, if using a 6v set up like I enjoy with 2 x AW LiFePO4's it takes a bit more to keep the Atty wet but dam is it one super vape with an Iken HV-510 Atty a top of this monster vape box :headbang:.!

If you haven't already, I'd order extra bottles from Perfume Apprentice while your waiting. They are really inexpensive and if you like to change flavors, it's nice to swap out bottles without emptying them. Their standard 3ml fits the mini and the 6 ml fits the grand.

The juice bottom feeder seems to work like a bubbler, as you press the juice quirts up through the battery hole and douses the coil. If you over do it it overflows into the well and gets sucked in the next time you inhale. You can quickly see juice at the base of the well as you press.

So first, I'd like to add this thread... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...if-reo-your-first-mod-what-you-will-need.html is a good place that covers all the bases to get you started. Please understand that the information in there covers what is most commonly enjoyed by us, but may not fit your needs in the end. Don't be afraid to experiment with different atty combinations and don't be surprised if your juice tastes different in this setup. This will be different than anything you have tried yet.

In these photos, you can see where the mod feeds the juice from the bottle directly to the atty connector. When you have an atomizer on there, the excess juice shows up in the reservoir, which will be sucked back up into atomizer on your next drag. You can also drip different flavors directly into the reservoir. For another way to quick change your flavors without replacing the bottle, you can simply put a fresh atomizer on and drip into it. It is really rather versatile in that respect. Let us know if you have more questions. :)

So I actually am now more confused because AW lMR LiMN says it's A safe/unprotected battery and I had read that we were always to use protected batteries in mods. Also I noticed that these are only 1600 mAh instead of 2400/2600/3000 available on the Trustfire Li-ion batts which are a protected battery. My brain is starting to melt and this is killing my buzz:facepalm:

These are the recommended batts. They last through most of a day for me. All day for some...

JUST...Do NOT short Circuit! A Tremendous amount of current will be released.
These are "safe chemistry" cells that will never "vent with flame" or catch fire on their own as they contain little oxygen unlike LiCo cells, which makes them "safer" than protected batteries!
