The REO is the best purchase I have made, by far. When I initially bought a grand, within a week I had ordered another one for a backup. My 2 grands are in the drawer now and I am using 2 wood models called woodvils. There are several new models out & being developed. All of mine take the large battery and hold 6ml of juice.

This forum is by far the most helpful I have ever run across so don't hesitate to ask anything, there is a ton of knowledge around here (not me but others)....

No problem. There are lots of videos on youtube about the various Reos models. Check 'em out and feel free to ask any other questions.

Nothing is wrong with your eGo-T and if it's working for you, that's cool. If it ever gets to the point that it's letting you down, a Reo might be the step up you need to improving your vaping experience.

Welcome to the REO sub-forum! You came to the right place to learn about what a REO is and how it works. It was the first mod I bought after my ego-T. My answers are in red.

I've been looking at these...sooo pretty!! I'm interested...so I thought I would ask a few questions...I did search the forum trying to find answers, so plz forgive me if this is redundant.

How does it work?

There is a tube that is connected on the bottom of the 510 connection that goes down to the bottom of the bottle. Once the bottle is lightly squeezed then juice will feed from the bottom of the bottle up, to the atomizer or cartomizer. Which is why it's called a bottom feeder.

How do you get juice to the atty for your vape? (gravity causes the fluid to collect at bottom of the bottle...do you get mouthfuls of fluid?)

Well, it's not gravity that feeds the atomizer from the bottle. It's due to pressure and depending on how hard you squeeze the bottle will depend if you get a "mouthful of liquid". That's why it's recommended that you use light pressure. That way, it will feed a small amount of liquid that will also prevent any access juice from spilling out into the catch cup.

I like tanks....is it compatible w my ego t tanks/atty?

Of course, you can use an ego-510 adapter. But, you don't have to do that now that you own a bottom feeder. Since that will defeat the purpose. You can use any other atomizer or cartomizer that you want to use on it now. With 801 or 901's then it's as simple as buying an adapter as well.

What are the replacement parts...atty & such and how much do they typically cost?

The replacement parts will be; atomizers, cartomizers, and batteries. Atomizers are usually 8.99 or less depending on where you get it from. Batteries will be ranging from 8-10 dollars. Cartomizers will be 7-10 bucks a pack. You can get cheaper prices on cartomizers if you buy in bulk.

Hard to maintain? (I hope not...I just like to fill tank & go...will clean ego t attys every so often...haven't had to yet...just got ego t a week ago. :). Love!!)

Isn't hard to maintain at all. Much less then an ego-t in comparison. All you need to clean it whenever you notice a drop in performance. Some people clean theirs more often then others. Personally, the first time I cleaned my very first REO was about 4 months afterwards.

Any input you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Oh! Is this the same as amonkeyboxx?

Cheers!

I would suggest you order some cartos from CCV, most of us use the Boge 2.0 (LR's). If you order their 15 carto deal they give you a free drip tip. Good way to accumulate drip tips and the cartos last from 3 to 10 days depending on who you ask and the juice you vape. The 15 carto deal is $20, they have a 5% discount code and free shipping. They have been running behind on orders for a while but I think they are about to be caught back up.

Tinky I came from the ego-t system to a Reo Grand and it is a world of difference.I had to carry 2 ego batteries, multiple tanks with me to work just to get through my 12 hour shift. Now all I have to do is make sure my 6 ml bottle is full(which lasts me 2 days of vaping) and a charged battery(which lasts me 1 1/2 days on a charge) and that's it.It's clean doesn't leak like a ego tank. Also I find the flavor is much better not muted with a tank-o-mizer.AND you will have a true 3.7 volt device or if you stack batteries a 5 volt device unlike the egos which run at I believe 3.2 volts. Also the Reo Grand/Mini is a mechanical switch which will last alot longer than the electrical switch on the ego.In fact what drove me to buy the Reo was my battery switch died on my last ego battery and I was finally fed up with the Ego.Please remember this is just my opinion and YMMV.

If you are going to order a grand and have it shipped across the ocean, get a couple of extra springs and bottles. Just in case :)
