I'm looking to cut my juices until I can find a steady supplier of VG juice.

I'm planning on cutting my current juices only 1/4 with VG. The vegetable based glycerin I've found has been in the cosmetic isle of a Walmart. That seems a little sketchy to me.

Is this food grade VG or does it still contain petroleum? Should I look elseware like a health food store? Is there a brand name VG? Most that I have found come in a generic brown bottle.

Does cutting juice reduce the throat hit or dull the flavor?

There's alot of info on these boards about this. Suggest a quick search. But here's a post that should dispell any myths - written by a phamacist:

I use the CVS Glycerin along with a gallon of PG I got at Tractor Supply (for like $23!). I mix the PG & VG 50/50 and use that to cut down my high nic juices. Killer vapor from the VG and the PG thins out the too-thick VG without adding any non-vapor liquid. Trust me - it works great!!!

are vg juices generally more expensive?
because i heard they taste a lot better?

Generally... no. Liquidxpress site is down right now but they offer 'naked' eliquid - ie unflavored nic juice in both PG and VG and there is no difference iirc and check here and Juicy:

Flavorless E-Liquid : JuicyLiquid.com, DIY E-Liquid and Accessories!

But then you have Ecopure which more expensive but specially made and flavored:

ECOpure E-Liquid : Electronic Cigarettes, Electric Cigarette, E-Cigarettes, E-Cig, E-Liquid

PG and VG unflavored no nic juice is about the same price depending on where you shop.
