Questions and impressions from a new user

So, I have not been at this long, but I ordered some stuff from Gotvapes.com

First off, the order filling and shipping were fast and awesome. I only ordered some new juices and some new tips. Plus when I got it there was a piece of candy in with my order. Did it just fall in there? I prefer to think it was hand picked for me.

Onto the flavors. Now I have only had them for a little while so these are just first impressions. I got hush and so far am very happy with it. It might be my daily vape for a while. Next is the strawberry and peach smash. Good balance of both flavors and not overly sweet. Final good one was Cinnamon roll. From first smell, you know what this was going to be. I will say as just a personal preference that I would have rather had more cinnamon and less bread flavoring. I also got city lights but just haven't tried it yet.

Now to the actual questions which relate to the other flavor I got. I got pear and when I opened that one I was hit with a very stong perfumey almost nail polish smell. I have heard with fresh juice you need to let it steep, but I am not sure what that really means. Is this usual or am I just doing something wrong? Forgot to add that I did shake very well before hand.

Alot of times steeping helps meld flavors and also lets some chemicals sort of aerate off, IYSWIM. And basically, if the juice isn't tolerable at first blush, well you lise nothing by allowing it to sit and steep.

Welcome to vaping and to Gotvapes!! GV always gives us candy......aint that great!

As Erin said....steeping just allows certain flavors to mellow out, or blend together, like how most any tomato based food is better the next day. Some juices won't need it at all and are great right out of the mailbox, but some more complex blends benefit from letting them sit in a cool dark place. Let it sit for a few days to a week and try it again. I call it putting it in time out if it don't taste right lol

Thanks burns_erin and Debadoo. I will take your advice and put the pear in time out. I have been vaping on the Hush all day and can't seem to put it down. My work does not allow vaping inside, but I had to sneak into a stall in the restroom today and have a few draws. Queue the music...smokin' in the boys room.
