So I have been offered a very pretty woodvil. I had two questions before I buy it... is there any particular problem with sub-ohming the woodvil? I run the reo I have around .3-.4 no problems but I'm wondering if the woodvil behaves differently. Two, is the woodvil "low profile"? Can I use my Zenith and Odin on it, and if not can it be modded so I can?

The woodvil is a completely different construction from the mechanical REOs. It has a mass produced switch that is rated for 3 amps.

Unfortunately for you, no, you can't put sub ohm coils on there and expect it to work for a long time. The general rule of thumb minimum resistance for woodvils seems to be 0.8 ohms. Don't go lower.

And no, it will not have a catch cup that fits Zenith or Odin.

For the moment: Stick with metal REOs.

^ this, Woodvilles are great but you need to stay at .7 or above and personally also run mine closer to 1 ohm. Nothing bigger than 14mm diameter on the newer woods, if it's an older wood the catch cup could be smaller.

so the big question how do feel about vaping a RM2 or cyclone at .8 ohms?

Bummer. It's such a beautiful mod, but I'm used to a different vape, not too interested in goin back to the rm2 and 1 ohm.
