I'm really sorry..CloudsOfVapor..If I blow up your spot but I really need to know this to save literally 60%~90% on money from a purchase that I am about to make soon..
The CloudsOfVapor E2 Map tanks are really pricey. The delrin map tanks are $24.30. And the polished stainless steel version is $55!!! Oh my god..that costs as much as an epower or another ego mod!! The greenhouseone tanks are $7.50. Haha it would be hilarious if I got that vendor mass amounts of customers because of my curiosity..it takes them about a month to deliver though haah. I think theyre based in China..o well at least they service us.

So I am wondering, is the E2 map tank possibly, 1000% better in quality and functionality compared to the dual coil carto tank from greenhouseone? I really need to know this. Because if couldsofvapor's e2 map tank is of better quality, or better yet outstanding performance wise in flavor, vapor and throat hit, then I am willing to dish out the extra amounts of cash to purchase it. But I really need to know from you guys first.
And also.
Can you guys give me a list of other great tank mods that are out there?
I have not purchased a single tank in my years of vaping.
I never really paid much attention to big mods before so I have been using crappy cigarette sized imitation mods for years.
Please list the tanks in order from best to worst.
So far, I know a couple of tank mods and they are:
e2 MAP tank
GHO DCC tank
torpedo tank (know absolutely nothing about this, just heard about it on these forums a WHILE ago)
MC tank (scott, the guy who always says cheers at the end of his YT videos haha, very imformative fellow) - does the plastic tank covers for the map tank and the greenhouseone DCC tank have the same thickness as these MC tanks? It looks VERY durable because of its thickness)
Are clearomizers great in tank form? I've heard horrible things about any clearomizers so I'm not so sure about this mod. Can any clearomizer be used with this tank? Such as the fairly new clearomizer fluxomizers from gotvapes? I know that there are many different types of clearos so I am wondering if this tank mod can house any of these as I feel that the fluxomizers are pretty good by itself.
I am also wondering how it is possible that crappy clearomizers work magnificently on tank mods but perform poorly on its own. Can anyone give a reason to this phenomenon? It really has me stumped..all they did is make the contraption bigger..yet..it performs like its the best carto out there. Makes me wonder why it performs so poorly on its own..in its regular carto sized stature..
And finally, the VPX tank from the vendor I forgot it's name. All I remember is that it has a pretty good site and sells alot of useful stuff but the dual coils there are MEGA expensive. If i remember correctly they were $3.50...that is rediculously expensive. There are vendors out there that sell DCC's in a pack of 5 for a little less than ten dollars..a pack of 5 from here would be $17.50!!! But honestly, these DCC's from this vendor actually performed better than ANY of the other vendors I bought from. I've bought DCCs from about 6 different vendors and they ALL varied in taste, throat hit and flavor. I dont understand this part either..they all say that their from smoktech but they all perform differently. The worst purchase I made was from avejuice aka alien visions eliquid...Their smoktech dual coils were the worst thing ever. I still have a pack of 10 and refuse to use it. The throat hit was nothing, the flavor was almost like I only had a smell of pie from a mile away and the vapor...don't even get me started..I could blow out more "smoke" from a cold christmas day. That's a pretty pathetic DCC from an otherwise good vendor that has ALOT of fans for its famous signature juices..Well, I hope I dont piss anyone off here because I mentioned prices of cloudsofvapor and the absolutely horrid DCCs from alienvisions. But honestly, only the vendors should be mad at me..haha
Well, thanks in advance guys. I REALLY appreciate the help. I really want to find a well constructed and an even better performing tank mod. Please help out it'd be GREATLY appreciated. So long! LAta!!

Re tanks with CE2 guts - I think most are moving away from those to the tanks that take a whole Boge or DC carto in the middle.

And warning - if it was you asking about VV's, some VV's balk at running 1.5ohm things like dual coil cartos. Provari may be the one that refuses to run them. I think the lavatube drops its voltage (to 3.9?) with them. So make sure whatever VV you are buying can run the dual coils before you buy a tank for them. it seems the tanks for Boges are usually a different size and those will work on any mod.

VV is variable voltage. If you plan on running dual coil cartomizers in a tank, some of the variable voltage devices limit the voltage they can output to dual coils. The problem is that two coils cuts the resistance of the cartomizer in half (so a 1.5 ohm dual coil contains 2 3 ohm coils). This lower resistance is read by some vv devices and the voltage is limited to prevent battery damage or popping a coil. If they knew that the cartomizer was 2 3 ohm coils, they might allow more volts, but when they measure they only see a 1.5 ohm cartomizer and assume that it's a single coil.

I hope that makes sense :D
