wait, so if I dont have a flange with the dcc because I bought the cartos from a cheaper place like...crystalclearvaping, then it wont have a problem? I thought the flange was keeping it from leaking at the bottom? this was one of my most curious questions because most tanks have flanges on them preinstalled on a carto so i thought i had to buy the cartos from that same site otherwise the tank would leak...i guess not.
however, what other cartos can i use with a dcc tank?
i wish i could use boge 3.0 on my provari because that would be awesome but these tanks are too big for them.
Unless I buy a smaller polytube to fit the end pieces of these dcc tanks...hmm....thinking...would that work?
like a baby notta or a chibi tank replacement with the dcc endcap...that would make a boge dccnotta or a boge dccchibi!! haha.

I just realized...the dcc tanks from madvapes are 2x the price than at myvaporstore...i paid two times the price!!!
wait..no I didnt...unless myvaporstore sells the chrome dcc tanks for 5 or 6 dollars. I still made a good choice!
I couldnt resist the shiny metal compared to the dull plastic on the cheaper dcc tanks from madvapes.
Did i luck out and buy a tank for the right price? or did myvaporstore still get me with the cheaper tanks if they sell chrome dcc tanks as well...

also, should I fill the carto first then put it in the tank and then fill the tank?
the cartos im getting will have the small holes on either side of the carto.
do i fill?
this is basically a question for all carto tanks.
whether it be slots or holes.
and also, should I make the holes bigger before i place it in the tank?
im using 60vg40pg.
I guess I should make it a lil bigger just in case.
how can i tell if the carto is not properly getting the juice from the tank?
should the top of the filler in the dcc always be moist?
how are you guys doing with the prepunched holes from madvapes?
the holes do look rather small to be fed properly..i really dont want to burn out a carto because the juice wasnt going through and replace it, losing alot of juice in the process of it all and a perfectly good dc carto..

I use a lot of 100% vg juice and you wouldn't think those holes would be big enough but a lot of time the DCC would over wick that's why I cut all the tanks down and one more thing @ kiggas they are hot swappable meaning you put the top of the new carto on the bottom of the old carto and push it through never loosing a drop

The tank at MadVapes includes the Dual Coil carto for $12 including tip.
The $5 MyVaporStore one you listed is just for the tank. It's $17 including 4 (?) cartos, the tank and tip.

So the Q would be 'do you want to put up with a DCC, or would you rather use a single coil carto'.
BTW Smoke tech also makes single coil cartos that are the same length as their DCC.

Also, we started using tanks long before the cartos with the bottom flange came out.

The $17 includes 5 dcc cartos, the tank (with derlin caps) and a drip tip.

So for $22 you can get 2 tanks, 5 cartos and a drip tip!

Of the three tanks I tried, I have never had any leaking from the end caps with any of them. All my leaking was air pressure leaking, probably user error........LOL

I love the looks of the Lil Mama tank and that tank had the tightest end caps of any tank I tried, and there was absolutely no sliding. I bought the SS end caps and I used a single coil Boge 3.0 on it, still without end cap leaking.

Iffy, what's the name of that carto punching tool? I'm going to run to one of the plumbing supply places and need to know what to call it. Home Depot and Sutherlands didn't sell anything like it.

I don't like the saddle valve for punching because I found that the carto slides sideways while you are trying to punch it.
