Well, after looking at the 3 major suppliers, ruyandirect, bestecig and eastmall, I have a couple questions I hope some people have had experience with all or a couple of them. I know there is concern about ordering from over seas, but the prices are almost tooo good to not take a chance.

1. Who has the better liquids? Eastmall seems to have a VERY large selection which I like! It's better to get all the liquids from one spot versus different suppliers and then the shipping added to each different one sucks. My fav's are RY4, chocolate and vanilla.

2. Anyone have any problems from customs with any of them?

3. How are the atomizers and batteries from the different ones? Mainly the 901 and maybe the 510 if I go that way.

I have been anolog free for 7 weeks now on my 901! I love it, but my only complaint is having to top off so often because of the small cart. I'm thinking of getting a 501 manual maybe from eastmall? because of all the good things I've read from here :) Eastmall doesn't state if their atomizers are 2 or 4 hole, but it doesn't really matter for me.

Thanks in advance for any insight and opinions! :)

Ruyan is great. I have am order coming from Trueman right now. I never ordered from the others.

Wait for more answers on the liquid from China. I don't like it myself. I use Johnson Creek. Made in the US, and no Customs involvement. Ships fast, good taste.

2. Anyone have any problems from customs with any of them?

Check the thread I started about Customs rumors. 3 pages of answers so far, and no problems. So far Customs seizures are just rumors. Suppliers have a different problem entirely.

3. How are the atomizers and batteries from the different ones? Mainly the 901 and maybe the 510 if I go that way.

All made in China. I have all different kinds. No problems with any of them.

I have both 2 and 4 hole. Doesn't make a difference to me.

Great post Hma!
I'm sorry I can't help you out as I have the same questions.

I'm leaning more towards Eastmall because of the juice sale and they carry red 801 atomizers. I also need some 901 parts.

If I may,I would like to add a few questions please...
How are the 801 atomizers?
Are the mouth pieces on the 901 and 801 interchangable? I prefer the round one with the hole vs the flat one with the slit.

Thanks :)

I've only ordered from Eastmall. I've purchased 3 M401 kits, 2 901 kits, 1 801 kit, and one 601 kit. I've also purchased some spare batteries and atomizers for all but the 601, blank carts for all, and a USB passthru for the 801. All purchased in 3 separate orders over the last 4 weeks. With the exception of the USB passthru not cutting off after I've finished my pull on the 801, every battery and atomizer I've gotten from David has been working as expected, and I've not had a part die yet. (I take very good care of my parts that I use, so that may add to their reliability, but now that I've made that claim, I'm sure I'll have something fail in the next 5 minutes. :p)

I have a juice order on the way, he's having a really good sale right now, 140ml of juice for 65 bucks shipped. I'll repost when I get them and let you know how they are.

And for all 3 of those previous orders, I had no hangups or issues with customs, and each order arrived at my doorstep in 5 days (including weekends). I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

hma, congrats on dropping the analogs. My wife and I are at a bit over 2 months, and it only keeps getting easier - not like it was difficult in the first place. As for the China distributors I've used Eastmall and RuyanDirect. I've only used Eastmall twice, both times for liquid, but I've used RD quite a few - probably 8 or 10 times. I haven't really kept count or anything. I haven't had any problems with any of the shipments, using EMS both companies get my order too me in the 7 to 10 day range. As for quality, as mentioned by Jim all of this stuff is made in China so as you would expect quality control is the same as the stuff you buy in the US. Meaning I've had a few minor problems with atomizers and batteries from BOTH US and Chinese suppliers. It does seem as I actually have more problems with things I've bought from US suppliers, but I haven't had enough problems with either to bother keeping track. Liquid - Now here's something that is about as subjective as anything I've encountered, personal preference being what it is. I do like liquids from RD and Eastmall, but some people don't. I believe most of the suppliers in the US buy their liquids from Chinese manufacturers so there's going to be little or no difference in US vs Chinese - Johnson Creek being the only exception to the rule that I know of. I do prefer buying liquid from RD, but only because I would rather not buy 100 ml at a time which was eastmall's minimum order. I haven't had any problems with quality or variance in taste from either RD or Eastmall though. I would have no problem recommending either of the two as I've had nothing but good service from both. RD does seem to answer emails a bit faster if that's a biggie for You. I would recommend keeping your orders from China small, with a large order there's a danger of customs considering it to be for resale and not for personal use. As far as I know that's all they're bothering with and even FDA's guidlines state that they will allow small amounts (Personal Use quantities) of almost anything to enter the country. That's on a case by case basis and is in no way written in stone. So, is there risk? Yes, but it's very little for small quantities and I haven't heard of anyones personal orders being seized. As a matter of fact I'm planning on placing an order with RD today!

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences with me and anyone who reads this!

I thought about trying JC mainly because threads on how much people like their flavors, but the few threads of how their liquid has killed people's atomizers kind of held me back.

Eastmall has a special going on for liquid.. a sampler thing but you have to buy I think it was 5 20ml bottles, but you can choose 5 different flavors and they will add 2 free bottles of the first 2 choices you put down, so that was appealing to me because like you OldBiker, I don't think I want to order 100ml of the same thing! LOL.

I know most all suppliers get their liquid from China and some even add to it or mix some different ones to make their own special flavors.

Eastmall is just appealing to me the most right now because of the liquid sale and have the 510 pretty cheap.

Yes I know taste is different for everyone and some people would rather have more of a smokey taste than flavor. I'm one that likes it heavy on the flavor side.

One more question, Jim Davis, where do you buy your JC from? Direct from JC website?

Thanks again everyone!! This will not only help me, but many others wondering about ordering from these 3 sellers!

Order mine from;

Johnson Creek Original Smoke Juice - The Best E-Liquid in the World - Made Right Here in America

As far as JC killing your atomizer, my attys last for months. When statements like that are made, review your sources. Hell.....None of us have a clue yet about how effectively to *clean* them. So I would have to see proof of a product trashing an atomizer.

From a purely pricing standpoint, "ruyandirect/heaven gifts" appears to have an upper advantage however they tend to be limited in terms of selection(as of posting, they do not yet have the 510 available).

eastmall seems to have a wider selection of both liquids & products, but the prices are slightly higher. But the advantage is that David is among us in the forums and we have direct updates on any specials going on. I think this definitely works in favor of eastmall.

considering that both suppliers are in China, and the shipping methods are the same, I've taken cost of S&H out of the equation. Both suppliers also provide [earning]points towards discounts.

Just 2 days ago, I ordered from both companies. So far ruyandirect has the items posted on the EMS tracker, I'm still waiting on eastmall's tracker update. It would be interesting to see if both shipments arrive at the same time.

I started a thread in the review section asking what is the best 801 atty. The 112 from bestecig was a definite crowd favorite. Haven't ordered yet (will this week).

On the other hand, I LOVE my 510, and you definitely want one with both manual batteries, which eastmall has. That is a good price, if you're planning on ordering something else from them anyhow (so the shipping isn't just for the 510).

Yeah that is a big turn off for me also! Another turn off is when my order comes in wrong and the supplier doesn't want to pay the shipping to return it and send out what I ACTUALLY ordered...only offered a $5 store credit and keep the wrong stuff even though I PAID for it (and hinted that if I wanted it exchanged I would have to pay the shipping to return the merchandise)! never buy from that supplier again!

After looking at the 510 from eastmall again, I noticed the 801 manual! AHHHH now I don't know which way to go!!!

I *did* find out that it takes 2+ days from the shipping date to show up on EMS. I'm waiting for one to show up right now. I's been a day and a half right now. I should see it tomorrow.
