So I recently purchased a new LP reo with the rm2 and love it. I keep reading a lot of people are using cyclones but they are impossible to find. I found one that is a top feed with the AFC and first question would be is if anyone knows a company or a person that will convert them? Would it be worth it to do that? Just wondering how many people have done it and if it would be worth doing that. Another question is I think I read that other attys will be coming out soon but does anyone know more details about this? Thanks!

Rob is working on a couple new atty's for the LP versions that are larger diameter. I know for sure the IGO-W has been mentioned, but not sure what else. As for the Cyclone, they are hard to find right now as you have seen. There are a few people here on the forum that have modded the TF versions and been successful. I think I saw someone post this morning that there was a place in the Philippines that had some BF versions...

Also, if you are really wanting a Cyclone, VA is in production now. They said that they can be pre-ordered at Mountain Oak, but I didn't see anything yet at MOV.

The center post of the Igo-W and Igo-S can be taken off completely by pushing it down and through the 510 connector.

When you do this, 2 insulators are inside the base holding the post. The one on the bottom of the base (that you can see when looking through the 510 connection) is the one you modify. It's in there, so take a small screwdriver and just take it off. It's not rubber, but like, a soft plastic? Thin enough to cut a slit in it. You can use scissors OR even better, try some nail clippers. I cut off maybe 1/32" of it off leaving a nice slit in it.

That SECOND insulator, take it off the atty if it's still in. This one, I believe is used to hold the center post from touching the base. With that being said, don't hate me if I say I never put mine back on. I've never had a problem with it shorting on me and I use and abuse both the Igo-W and Igo-S.

I'm sure you can cut a slit similar to the one you did on the bottom insulator and line them up.

Now just put your center pin back through the 510 connector with the insulator(s) and the final test.........

Blow through your 510 connector. POW!!!

It actually works GREAT!

I find myself using my Igo-S over the W, only because of the smaller space inside the chamber. The tighter the space, the greater the flavor.

Hope this helps...
