I just had a order of hardware and e liquid stopped at customs and returned to the sender. So the answer to your question is yes

Yeah, but I said hardware ONLY, no liquid.

The decision is ultimately yours of course but why not support our fine Canadian suppliers? Some great deals to be had and you will have no worries.

I would love to and have been thus far. Only reason I'm considering it is I can't seem to find all the items I am looking for at one vendor and don't want to buy $5 items on their own and pay shipping etc. Plus complicating things more, I am limited to credit card payable sites because my bank doesn't have email money transfer.

I likely will end up getting canadian though. Just thought if I can find a good deal on everything from one place.....

I'm curious as to which bank you're with. Interac money transfer is supported by BMO Bank of Montreal, CIBC, RBC, Scotiabank, TD Canada Trust , National Bank of Canada, Desjardins Group and Credit Union Central of Canada. The only bank I know that's not listed is Laurentian bank.

They can get turned away, but they shouldn't be. It gets a bit technical as far as I know.

Health Canada will classify any device that makes a health claim (eg. helps you quit smoking, to be used with nicotine) as a medical device. An e-cig with such health claims are not authorized for import (they will say you need a license).

The vast majority of hardware does not explicitly make any health claims, so customs should let it through... but that hasn't stopped the odd order from being denied entry. Either they misinterpret HC's mandate, or there are some other technicalities that must be met. As far as I can tell, it's quite rare for a hardware only order to be denied entry.

What kind of items are you looking for that you can't find all from 1 supplier?

Nothing special. Just a place that has, LR ego t attys, usb ego charger and silicone tank caps. That's pretty much it I think. It's no biggie but it just seems silly to have to get them all from different vendors and it'd be nice if I found one that has all 3 that accepts credit card.

HappyVaper.com definitely has all of these items and accepts credit cards:
eGo-T LR atomizer
eGo Charger
eGo Silicone Caps

The atomizer is a tad more expensive than other places, but it's a small price to pay for convenience and fast shipping I suppose.

Damn, thanks. I've been on that site many times but never clicked on the attys because most places specifically says "LR" in the description. This just says ego t attys.

Well since I may order from there anyway, do you have any thoughts or experience with these?

Canadian electronic cigarette Happy/Joye 510 eGo, VPX CARTOMATOR Cartomizer Tank

Just looking for a way to not always be filling tanks or topping up. Maybe type b atty/tanks?

to the best of my knowledge and experience hardware orders don't usually have a problem passing. As a safety measure I have asked US suppliers to declare contents by the technical name ex: rechargeable lithium battery, atomizer replacement, usb device, with no mention of e-cigarette to be written on content declaration ... and it helps.

I don't have one personally, I've had it in my cart for 3 days now trying my best to not order it but I don't know how much longer I can hold off :) It's gotten great reviews here on ECF though..

LOL ... I thought I was the only person who loaded up shopping carts and waited several days, sometimes weeks before I actually check out on it. I have two carts loaded and waiting... one at Happy Vaper and one at CanVape. I sad part is I just made substantial purchases from both of these vendors within the last 10 days, so I think that I means I have an addiction :D

Same with my credit union here. I wrote them asking about it and their reply was that it's in the works, likely to be implemented early in the new year.

...and yes, i'm done with banks.

Maybe we are at the same credit union. What's your account number, maybe I can check on it for you? Heehee.

Fortunately I've got a pretty good list of vendors that accept cc in Canada now though, thanks to other members.

And thanks DevilFishPhil, I ordered the tank. Hopefully it's as good as reviewed. I hate topping up all the time. Plus it looks cool :)
