Quick 18350 Charger Question - Xtar MP2

I was given a xtar MP2 Charger, and I have two Efest 18350 800mah IMR batteries. Can this charger charge my batteries? I dont know much about this charger, but from what Ive read it only charges up to 3.7volts not 4.2volts required by our APV mods...

To answer your question, yes it is designed to charge those batteries It will charge them up to around 4.2 volts. When a battery is listed as 3.7 volts, that is its nominal voltage but the actual charge will be around 4.2 at the fully charged state, then this voltage will drop as the charge depletes.

FWIW, I know it may look like there is a lot to learn, but it's totally worth learning to understand the products we're using, how to use them safely and how to get the most performance out of them. It really does get a lot easier once you've got learning the basic info under your belt

I just looked up that charger. If your model has a voltage selector switch for either 3.0 or 3.7, make sure it's set on 3.7 for those batteries. The 3.0 setting is for a different chemistry battery (LiFePO4) that has a lower nominal voltage
