Quick Charger Question

Hello all, quick question here:

I have a TR-001 Trustfire charger ( that everyone uses ) Can you charge two different batteries (ie. an 14500 & an 18650) at the same time? Or is this a nono?

I know the charger is (smart?) and knows when to cut off the charge & how much charge to put in, didn't know if it just checks the charge of both batteries, or if each side charges separately.

Another follow-up question re TR-001:

Is AW IMR 18650 3.7V/1600mah ok to charge in TR-001?
How about Trustfire flame cr123 3.7V/880mah?

Rotsen, as far as your question goes, I know you can charge the 18650 on it, not sure about the other.

On the back of the charger it tells you what all batts it can charge.

Edit: If you haven't bought the charger yet, any website that sells it should have a list of all the batts you can charge with it. I bought mine from madvapes, they have pretty decent and competitive pricing.

Each side charges separately, read the package it came in if you doubt my assertion. You can charge two different batteries at the same time.

My Trustfire TR001 does come in a special package but in a clear plastic pouch with their brand name printed on it.

can anyone help here? I'm curious as well if AW IMRs can safely be charged in the TR-001...

I guess yes you can charge AW IMRs in TR001 but with extreme caution, which we also need to do even if we use smart chargers or any other brand. Safety first.

It's a two-channel charger. Search on TR-001 Trustfire and get links like this that give two channels as a feature: TrustFire TR-001 Lithium Ion Battery Charger

There has been some discussion at the CandlePower forums that this charger does a trickle charge after reaching full charge. This can be bad, so watch the charger and pull the batteries when the charge light turns green. Else, there is a small but real chance of plating metallic lithium to the anode which can make the battery unstable.
