The TOBH is an older design but is still very relevant. Flavor is good, and so is vapor production. Airflow was very good back when it was first introduced but compared to many newer designs is a bit lacking. The airflow adjustment tabs also make mounting and positioning your coils a bit tricky.
I haven't tried the Derringer yet.
I recently melted the insulator on my TOBH v2.5 clone (left it on a mechanical mod with a weak switch spring without locking the switch and it auto-fired). I decided to replace it with the
CLT V3 Mini (Project Sub-Ohm edition), and it is an amazing little RDA that costs only $30 (and it's not a clone). It has an amazing balance of flavor and vapor production. I'm in the middle of writing an extensive review on it which will go into much more detail, but I highly recommend this RDA. Flavor is almost as intense as my Magma (which is a great flavor-chasing RDA, but for someone transitioning from cloud chasing the tight draw, even wide open, might not make it a good choice for you).
