Well after about a month of lurking I took the plunge and made an account.
During my last bout of bronchitis/sinusitis I decided it was time for me to quit smoking. While I was sick in bed I spent that time researching PV's and everything involved in vaping. I'll admit at first everything seemed overwhelming, but by day three it all started to come together. Initially it felt like I was reading a foreign language. ECF has been an absolutely invaluable resource on this journey. I'd like to thank all the contributing members because without your information I probably would have given up.
I took my time on deciding what route I thought would work best for me based on my lifestyle. I ended up settling on a Reo Grand using LR 510 attys and so far so good. Right now I'm at 18 days tobacco free and going strong. I feel better, smell better, and being the only (ex)smoker my family and friends couldn't be happier. As expected my first few days were the worst as far as cravings go, but each day has gotten progressively better. I'm on the "juice journey" now and even though I haven't settled on a favorite I have managed to rule quite a few flavors out. Since I started I already have two people that are interested in quitting analogs and giving vaping a try. I know I haven't been at it long, but so far everything has been positive.
So thanks again to everyone at ECF and I look forward to being part of the community.
