Quick newb question

When I see "you rba people" talking about your assembly, I often see the use of numbers like 4/5 and 3/2 (could be the other way around). I imagine that one of the numbers is the amount of loops with in the wire but cant decipher it completely. Am I way off? I figure this is stuff I should know as I am (hopefully) soon going to get onboard the rba train....

If you look at a coil from one side it will have 1 more wrap than the other, hence, the 10/11 :)
