Perique blends were my all-time favorite for analog tobacco. So I got myself a 30 ML bottle of 2x Bourbon / Perique from VaporBomb.
This stuff will put hair on your chest, that's for sure (wouldn't recommend it for the ladies out there!).
When you take your first draw of it there is a deceptively sweet flavor on the tip of your tongue, and then you'll inhale and quickly realize that you've just entered a whole new vape territory.
Yeah it tastes and smells exactly like perique and even after soaking your atty in 91% IA you'll still be able to smell it in there as if you never cleaned the damn thing. I'd recommend it to only die-hard smoke fans. In my opinion the exhaled perique vapor smells worse than smoke and can actually linger for a quite a bit. The two parts bourbon did NOTHING to diffuse the perique flavor. Best TH I've ever had though, especially for a fresh mix that didn't steep for more than two days.
The only use I have for it is the same as real perique, and that is blending. If you want to add an authentic smoke flavor to anything then all you need is 1/4th perique or less, and I wouldn't recommend any more than that or you'll be tasting it in your atty for the next week.
edit-- Actually the first time I vaped it strait, it was so intense it made me sick and I had to take a nap. Haven't had a problem with it since but I pretty much only vape it when I'm drunk and I blend it with strong creamy flavors as well. The strait 2xBourbon/Perique blend I have dubbed 'gator piss'.
