Quick question about adding more nicotine to E-Juice.

I bought a ton of 10ml flavored samples on this website because they were CHEAP. When I ordered I noticed they are .6 strength (or 6 or whatever). Just a few questions, so I know what I'm getting myself into.

If I buy some nicotine am I able to add it directly into it(with measuring of course). Or do I need to compensate for the VG and PG as well? Will this effect the taste at all w/out adding more flavor? How hard is it to do all the measuring? If its just adding the nicotine I'm assuming its easy, if it involves adding more bases then it gets a little more complicated.

I know I could just MAKE my own from scratch, but right now this is what I have to work with ... Thanks for any help guys!

No you do not have to add extra VG or PG.

As Mrs C has noted below, read up about 100mg nicotine ... it can be dangerous, if not handled proper.

Unless you go with a pretty strong nic base for your addition you will end up diluting your flavor. Head over to the DIY section of the forum and do some research. The high level bases can be pretty ugly if you don't know what you're doing.

You can buy Nicotine and add it but it will change your flavor percentage in the juice. Nicotine comes in PG, VG, or a mix of PG and VG. If you really want to do this, I strongly suggest you go to the DIY section of this site and read the stickies and some threads that have to do with NIC, measuring equipment, etc. DIY E-Liquid

Agreed, you can do it, it's quite straightforward - Nic base comes in PG or VG so adding the base will change the ratios. Also as WillyZee said, you will really dilute the flavor.

Another way to do it would be to buy the same flavors of juice say at a 36mg (or a 3.6) and then mix those in. Should end up with about a 2.0 - 2.2 that way.

There is a very active DIY Sub-forum here on ECF. I think you need 15 posts to post up, but you can read and have a poke around there. When you get the 15, you might ask your question there as it might get a bit more traction.

and you need to be very careful with 100mg nicotine (gloves, no children or pets around, and locked up - see stickies in diy subforum

OR

you can save these flavors for when you cut back on your nic (store in freezer to lengthen the shelf life)

OR

dye your hair blonde, write a 2 in front of the 6 and your set (worked for me anyway)

I have a buddy I diy for and he thinks he is at 26mg but is actually at 3mg because I worked him down gradually over the last 6 months at his wife's request - He recently told me he thinks he is ready to start stepping down on the nic and his wife snorted rum and coke up her nose trying not to laugh

Thanks for all the info guys. I did not know any of this, except the fact that nicotine is a very abrasive, dangerous and toxic. I'll start reading up on that.

If nothing else, I will just find the flavors that I like the most, buy those and add to it. Wallah!
