anyone notice a flavor difference in nicotine strength?

I dont know if its just me but i notice a big difference in flavors going from 12mg to 6mg to 0mg and vice versa. does the nicotine affect the flavoring or do the companies compensate for the nicotine by adding more flavor? Or is it just in my head?

I don't know, I've vaped the same mg since I began. I don't really know if it would change the flavor or not. It shouldn't be a big difference if there is one.

All I've noticed is a difference in TH. What you may be noticing is one has steeped longer than the other. May also depend on who did the mixing on that batch.

Nic has a peppery flavor that is stronger as the nic ages, so yes different nic levels will have a slightly different flavor

Yes, the nic content will affect flavor, in general. Depends on the flavor and what's in it, but usually, the higher the nicotine, the more it can dull the flavor. Some companies compensate for this, but I doubt most do. I found one vendor that let you choose the strength of the flavor, and recommended more flavor for higher nicotine, but I can't recall which one it was.

As posted by others I notice the flavor is more smooth and less harsh/ peppery with a lower nic juice.

It really depends on the nic base. Some will mute flavors more than others, I've found. The sweetness also can be muted. The longer it sits, the flavor will get better.

It depend of make. I use to have this problem but as long as I had change liquid supplier, the nicotine doesn't affect flavor anymore for me.
I begin on 24 mg (red bull flavor) and now I am on 8 mg. It always taste the same. So what I will suggest is change the supplier of liquid.

I have found that I lost some TH going from 18 to 12 mg...not really missing the nic rush, but might go back up to 18 as it was a more 'smoke-like' fulfilling hit. Lower nicotine still delivers flavor, but the hit is much less 'harsh' - which is either a positive or a negative depending on your preferences. I, for one, like to feel the hit as well as see the vapor.

I switch between 12mg, 6mg and 0mg (12 in the AM, 6, or occasionally 0, in the evening). I've thought I've noticed a difference in flavor between 6 and 0, not so much between 6 and 12. I was never sure if it was a real difference or a mind trick from knowing it was 0 nic.

With DIY juice, when i lighten up on the flavor i get a slight pepper bite.

Yeah depends on purity of base nic I would say. But to me it seems as posted before the throat hit is main difference.

how it has been for me. started at 36 mg nic, very harsh, no flavor. now 0 MG, and flavor is all i have to go by. v/v helps bring up vapor, and very very very mild TH. lungs have adjusted to 0, so i get a little hit in my lungs when i inhale.
