quick question about cartomizers

finally got my shipment yesterday.. and i LOVE them.. i'm finally getting FLAVOR through my ego-t battery... rather then using the tank.

my question is after doing the "condom" filling how often should i be dripping to avoid burning or drying out the atty?

also, can i presoak my other carts and keep them in the condoms and just rotate through my vaping?

I do it a couple of different ways. I pull my drip tip off and look inside the top of the carto and if its white and/or dry looking add juice until it wont absorb. If I don't do it like that because I am driving I can taste it get a little harsh tasting because the wire that pops out of the top hole is getting dry. You can also approximate it, if it holds 1 mil and say 1 mil last you 3 hrs top if off around 1.5 hrs if you have the time.

As for pre-filling and putting condoms back on I don't see why that wouldn't work. I only carry 1 flavor on me when I go out so I don't bother with that.

You can top off as often as you like... it depends on your personal use.. I top off every 45 minutes or so with 6-12 drops at the least, but I also chain vape so YMMV. Its better to top off MORE often then less... once you burn the filler it can be difficult to get the taste out. FYI the carto WILL look dry on top after a very short time which doesnt mean you're out of juice by any means... You want to drip down the sides directly onto the filler until its "slushy looking" like with a regular cart, but not pooling. You should be able to see through the center hole when you put it up to light.

It just takes a little getting used to.... eventually you will be able to tell just from the taste that it needs to be refilled... every 1-2 hours (for me) and the flavor drops off or it tastes a little funky.. then I know its starting to run dry, at that point it'll take around another 18 drops... Just experiment with it a bit.

As for prefilling cartos and putting the condoms back on, yes you can absolutely do that no problem!

Condom is good for filling a new carto imo, once the carto is wet its real easy to top it off by dripping,it sucks the juice down like a sponge.

liberty-flights has delrin drip tips cheap and they also carry steal which have a wide opening, but I dont like the feeling of the cold metal personally. Check out good-prophets for colored delrin's they have the best price I've found! If you're looking for something fancier check out cherryvapes, they have hand made acrylic tips in various colors... I love them on my carto's but the hole is a bit small for dripping.

You can get them just about anywhere that sells ecig supplies. Check where you buy your juice from so you don't have to pay a separate shipping charge just to get a couple drip tips. They come in plastic, delrin(space age plastic that feels and is as hard as metal), aluminum, stainless steel.

I've been using cartos for about a year and I never use the condom method anymore. Seems messy and fussy to me. I fill mine like I'm filling a beer glass. I tip the carto a little so I don't get it down the center tube and it doesn't run out the bottom. I rotate it to distribute the juice evenly. On a first fill I drip a few (maybe 5) drops and wait for it to soak in. Then I continue with a few more and wait. I do this until I reach the number of drops the carto is supposed to hold or 'till it won't absorb any more. On subsequent fillings the filler will absorb more readily and it doesn't take as long.
As others have said, you can taste it when it starts to dry a bit and then you refill. I find that throwing out the rubber end piece and putting on a drip tip makes filling easier. I don't fill through the drip tip but it's easier to pull off.

Another way to fill them is direct dripping into them at a 45 degree angle. A 1ml carto takes 20-25 drops. Let them sit for at least 20 minutes before using so the juices gets worked all around inside it.

I top off when the flavor or vapor start to fade. Just drip about 15 drops or until the top of the filler starts to look slushy again.

Nah they last ages... Sometimes the o-ring that keeps it snug in the atty breaks, but you can pick them up in various sizes at places like home depot I havent had one break yet!
