I think actually you're right My 510 pt I didn't care for The 808 was much warmer and more vapor I stand corrected, the in-line batt of the 510 limits it Also the pt I got for the 808 was better made

so does it matter what the milliamp output is? Cuz I'm still totally confused about the whole PT issue and using your PC. All the websites say you can just plug it into your PC but then you look at the forums and are told the 2.0 USB ports on the PC don't have enough power for the PT and you should get an AC to USB adapter to use with the PT. I have a KR808D-1 pt and I would love to use it but I don't want to damage my computer.
I have been using pass-throughs since I started three months ago. I have a 510 with the inline battery and a Kr8 adapter for use in my car. (I get static and noise over my radio if I use one without a battery.) And a Kr8 pass-through without a battery for use at the computer. I haven't had any problem at all.
If the outlet you are using for a pass-through doesn't have enough output to power it the thing simply won't work. It won't break anything.
