Quick question but not sure if anyone can help me

So I had an OG iStick with an ehpro kayfun v2...good set up worked well. Now the kayfun is stuck on the mod and I can't get it off. It turns slightly and makes a "click" sound then nothing. Anybody ever have this happen and fix it? I'm assuming maybe I had the airflow screw too far out and it could've dropped into the airflow grooves on top of the istick? Or maybe the threads finally just locked it up on me? I bought an new 50w istick, but I want my kayfun on it. Prob gonna just go buy a Lemo, but if I could manage to get my kayfun back I'd still like to use it in my rotation. Any thoughts?

That's a tough one. I had an atty get stuck on my mod for some reason, and I couldn't get it off by hand. I ended up using wire pliers with a small piece of an old inner tube wrapped around it and it finally broke loose with no damage to the atty or the mod.

I have a few ehpro Kayfuns as well, and have had this happen. Unfortunately, on some of the ehpro clones there is an issue with the airflow screw slowing backing out. When it backs out enough, it will catch on top of the mod when you try to take the Kayfun off. The fix......I honestly don't know. Sorry.

This is what I figured...didn't know if it was a known issue, but if you heard of that before I'm pretty sure that's the case. Thanks to both of you for your help

I've had the center pin screw being loose cause this on my KF3.1. The BluzKing technique was what I did. Now I double check the center pin screw before installing the KF.

My genuine Kayfuns would do the same thing to me. Just take a pair of pliers and something to protect the kayfun. Twist that sucker off. Make sure you have the base part and not the tank section. Now I check to make sure that the air screw is below the surface whenever I refill.

Don't know why but they stopped backing out. I still check though, just in case. It is HARD to get that puppy off the device when that screw backs out.

I bet its the afc screw, too. You might be able to get it turned in some with some dental floss. Once you have it off, try putting some teflon tape around it to keep it from turning so easily.
