So far so good, in about 1/2 hour I will hit the one week mark and I am loving this. So here is my problem. I got an Ego and am using the standard carts and atty's in both SR and LR. I get very little vaping before the bad taste arrives and I need to top off. When I go to top off the cartridge only needs one drop to be saturated again. I do like dripping, but it seems as if I am not really drawing any if much juice from the cartridge. It feels more like I am just vaping the direct drips.

Thanks in advance, woot one week smoke free after 25+ years, and I haven't even thought about killing anyone. Simply amazing!

It sounds like the polyfill is not contacting the bridge. When this happens you can fluff it up a few times to bring it to the top of the cart again. After a while though it's better just to replace it with new fill of some sort. Search for threads relating to blue foam mod, PTB mod and polyfill.
Personally, I quit using cart's a long time ago and just switched to a drip tip. Cart's don't go much longer than dripping anyway and they're more of a hassle, and expense IMHO.

Try some cartomizers, whether the big XL or the Boge 2 ohm (I like the Boge 2 ohm because I prefer the warmth). You'll get decent runtime between top offs, and refilling via condom method or popping off the rubber tip and filling from the mouth end is pretty painless. Just blow through the mouthpiece when done, and wipe the battery contacts, to clear any excess juice.

+1 on the Boge cartos. Love mine, but I'm using the 3 ohm ones, like the cooler vapes since puff a lot, like a cigar or pipe. Cartridges are definitely my least favorite method. I drip once in a while. Joye has come out with a tank system for the eGo/Tornado. You might want to check that out. Haven't seen any reviews of it yet though, brand new product, but looks promising.

The polyfill gets tired after a few days. When that happens with my PV's carts I throw away the polyfill and switch it to blue foam stuffing.

You can buy precut 510/901 blue foam for something like 75 cents for 10 pieces at StrictlyEjuice.com, Flavor Shop! and then if you like the foam, you can spend $8 or so at Petsmart and get its uncut form, Marineland Rite-Size U Foam Sleeve in the aquarium dept. I started with the precuts and cut them down for my M401's smaller carts. The blue foam is less likely to give a burnt taste when dry and it holds its shape nicely and is easy to clean if you want to (rinse under running water and pat dry on a paper towel). I love it. I think it wicks the juice at least as well as brand new polyfill if not better.

Also to be aware of - 510 carts are directional - line up the long dimension of the stuffing with the legs of the atomizer bridge to get the best atty contact with the stuffing.

And attys need periodic cleaning or can start to taste funky or not work as well (which could shorten their life). I alternate 2 attys weekly. I use one while cleaning the other in a small jar of vodka (grain alcohol would be better). I soak the dirty atty in vodka overnight then next day I shake it out and lay on a paper towel to dry (you can also blow through to to dry).
