Quick question from a newbie

Hi everyone, newbie here from Scotland

Please can you let me know if it's possible to "recycle" / re-use carts? I wondered if there's a method to remove the foam, wash it, and re-use it, instead of having to keep buying new carts.

Yes the cart can be used indefinitely. The filler can be washed and reused a few times but eventually will just fall apart. To wash the filler I just remove it gently with a pair of tweezers then hold it under warm running water until the liquid is gone and then press it in a folded paper towel to dry it out. Insert it back in the cart and you're ready to go.

When it comes time to replace it there are many options, I've found Fluval from the pet store works best for me but there are many others, fiberfil, blue foam, tbag etc. Just do a search for cart mods and you'll find them.

Yes you can re use cartridges over & over again. You can just refill them with juice & then eventually remove the stuffing with a pair of tweezers & wash it. Or you can restuff the cart with various things like blue foam that. You can buy blue foam from various vendors including Paradise vapes - they are also in Scotland

Good to know that you can wash it, and when the foam does go, you can even replace that.

Lawrenma, you will also find that when you buy new atomisers, then come with a completely blank mouthpiece (empty cartridge) attached. They can be stuffed with filling & then filled with juice.

Just to be clear since some new people don't know the lingo

Cartridge aka cart is the plastic and stuffing piece the pushes onto or into the atomizer of a 3-piece ecig - yes they can be reused, restuffed (I prefer blue foam) - they can last a long long time

Cartomizer aka carto - this is the screw-on combined disposable cart with internal atomizer of a 2-piece ecig. You cannot replace the stuffing in a carto. If you keep a carto damp you may be able to get 4-7 days use out of one and in some cases more. but eventually the internal atty gets gunked up, the taste may get bad. As long as you haven't run it dry and singed the stuffing, some poeple are successful at cleaning/drying and reusing cartos, some are not, and some just throw them out.
