Hello there,

I have a follow up question, I did search the board and I couldn't find the answer.

How do you clean your carts? I ordered ejuice online from PureSmoker and I want to wash & re-use my factory carts (njoy Pen Style) Should I just rinse them with water and let them air dry? Do i remove that wool stuff inside?

Please post your cleaning method. Thanks a lot :)

Thats about it. Rinse in water first.
I put it on a towel, fold over and press dry, then carefully put back in the cart and refill.
Water wont hurt if its a little wet/damp yet.
Try not to have hairs sticking out and keep it even with the end of the cart.
Thats about it.
If it is to thin or gets ratty looking, go to the next cart.

A very efficient method of cleaning the cart core (the 'wool') is to wait until you have a few used carts, then remove the cores with a pair of tweezers, pop them into a syringe (5ml is a perfect size), then squeeze out the old juice into a dropper bottle (so you can re-use the juice:thumb:), then fill the syringe with clean water and flush it through the cores a few times. You can then squeeze most of the water in the cores out with the plunger. Fold the core into an S shape and reinsert into the cart with the tweezers so you don't scrunch the wool into the cart.

I personally wouldn't use any soaps or detergents, warm water is quite sufficient.

There is a video demonstration of this technique, but I can't find the link...perhaps someone else can step in...

Posters right on the button and must add i find the cart needs washing at least once a day otherwise it doesn't transfer the liquid as well as it should.

One of these tutorials shows how to use a syringe, I don't know if it's the one you mean Clouds -

Thanks Kate - yes, that's the video I was referring to:thumb:

This method allows you to force clean water through the fibre under pressure, without any risk of tearing it. It's a cheap way of recycling both liquid and carts and means it's one less consumable we have to replace:D
