So I have a evic and a k100 mod (I want to get a nicer mod, dont know where to look first lol) . I prefer vaping from my mod, I cant always use it since i drive a lot for work. Thats were the evic comes into play, but iv been having problems. Some cartos iv been using seem to not or or i set it up wrong. I do all the preping and ge the jucie in the tank and all that, but when I go to take a hit from it it takes burnt and I can even see it glowing red from the hole in the cargo. Am I not setting up the carto right? as in not getting enough juice inside the carto before putting it into my tank? It seems like a spend quite a bit of money on tanks and the o-rings start to break or rip after a few weeks. I feel that dripping from my mod has been less of a headache and less of a hit on my money....

If you're seeing the coil of the carto glowing, Something is wrong. It sounds like you are not properly prepping your carto.
You'll hear many different ways to do this, and commonly, you'll hear one thing you shouldn't do, which is get juice in the center hole.

LMAO...

Soak the inside of the carto. Don't worry about the center hole. If this is a tank carto (has holes in the sides) cover the holes with your finger and thumb and gently blow out any extra juice through the bottom (onto a napkin) and wipe the connection off. Insert it into the tank, fill the tank and you're ready to go.

Before you hit the fire button the first time, take a gentle draw off the tank to ensure juice is around the coil(s) then fire away.

I do the process you wrote down but it seems to be happening a lot more often. I have use cartos for at least 5 months without problems before but now seems to come up more often being "burnt". Do I throw out the carto and try a new one since the one in the tank is burnt? Also another thing is my carto tend to flood. Like its soaking in juice and spit alot of juice when i vape. It sounds like someone finishing a drink with a straw. I tilt it up and blow it out but about 10 hits it floods again....

Sounds like your tank may also have maybe to much pressure built up to be flooding the way you describe. I drip juice in my cartos until juice starts coming out of both punched holes. Afterwards I drop 2 drops directly on the coil. Blow out any extra before inserting into a tank. Also if your juice is high in VG that could clog up a carto faster. To be safe after first priming and filling a new carto and tank let it sit for about a half an hour. Fire it up at low volts and first then move on up. I usually get a week or more out of a carto.

I took out the old carto and replaced it with a new one..... same damn problem hardly any vapor and taste burnt as hell.... I think I had my breaking point with tanks. I never had any issues before but seem that if it doesn't taste burnt as hell it will flood my carto. I think I may just stick to dripping with mods..... I can't get this thing to work anymore and may just end up selling my evic and tanks its frustration....
