So far I love my LT a lot, but feel annoyed sometimes when driving and cannot vape cause I have to drip on it. I have a 1.5ohm LR DCT but 1.5ohm isn't awesome on the LT at all. I was wondering if 2.5ohm DCC on the tank would help me out a lot? Its safe to use right? Afterall, its 2.5ohms. Thanks bros.

The question is not in 'How many ohms' But what is the your definition of 'Awesome!'. If you were dripping the same juice, I bet you are gonna say "The juice taste good!" But using that same juice on a DCT (Irregardless of what cartomizer) you WILL say that "It's kind of muted!!"
It doesn't matter how many different ohms of cartos you have. A Lavatube gotta do what a Lavatube's gotta do. To compliment the types of ohms you have in the cartomizer. E.G: I can pair a 1.5ohm single coil with 3.6v ~ 3.9v. I can pair 2ohm with 4v ~ 4.5v. I can pair 2.5ohm with 4.6 ~ 5v. I can pair 3ohms with 5.1v ~ 6v.
As long as your Lavatube (And this theory applies to all true Variable Voltage PVs) allows you to go UP and UP, you will discover that there's nothing you cannot use @ all. (Provided if the Lavatube's circuitry allows it.)
So, I believe your question is not in the ohms. As anyone who's vaping RY4 flavor @ 1.5ohm (dual Coil Cartos) + 5v (If your VVPV allows it!) can testify.
For what its worth. i would say that a 2.5ohm DC carto can give you more range of voltage on your LT. Good if you are just playing around the voltage for that Awesome vape you looking for. Also, Boge 2.0ohm SINGLE coil on a DCT works wonders for the reason below.
This is what i believe that is happening on a 1.5ohm on LT. because of the LR.. your LT does not utilize the VV fully because of the Current limitations. TBH i have no idea what the current limit on the LT booster. Its like Provari, it steps down the voltage when it exceeds 2.5A(I remember reading this somewhere). Thats why people prefer "standard" to HV resistance atty on Provari.
oh and to add, 1.5dct on LT actually uses your batteries original power with no alterations... thats why fresh batts tastes better. at least for my case. that is why i feel LR DCT on LT is a waste of gear.

LT's max output is only 3A even if u crank up to 6V and use LR attys it's still going to output 3A max.
This is one of the many reasons why I gave up on OTS stuff. Made meself a 6V 6A poorvari and never looked back. Currently vaping on 4.5V with 3.2Ohm bulli a2tm. Vapor and taste beats 510, 306, EGO handsdown.

My VV box mod is evercool that evercool chip from TI i think the output is 5amp Max (Not too sure). but using protected 14500 batts. haha.. i cant jack up the voltage beyond 4v on my DIY for DCT prolly because of the protected batteries... thats why i bought a LT to try. Then again, i should have just sourced for IMR 14500 to solve my problem. lol

One thing is OTS items i willing to bring outdoors.. stealthy of cause. I made a few DIY boxes 2AA, 3AA sizes and they never see light outside my doorstep. cos they look like Detonators.. Fugly stuff. haha. So far only Ego goes out with me. haha and now my GG Stealth. Dont think i will bring my future Katana out too.

I'm using OKR series regulator. SO far no prob for me with the voltage. the 14500s I've tried UF blue, TF blue, TF flames & IMRs. All can go to 6V. Never had the cut-off activated.

my fren tried his CE type lookalike LR DC @ 4.9V on my poorvari with no issues. maybe u wan to try urs on my rig?
I have 5 pieces of polyfill cartridges.Whenever i use them my vapor always taste like burning plastic.Sometimes the polyfill actually fuses with the atomizer.I guess the atomizer burning the polyfill must be the reason.
Now i just drip directly into my atomizer and put the cartridge on without the polyfill.Like using a driptip.Allows me to take a few good long draws.
Waiting for my adapters to arrive so i can use my Ego-T atomizer with Lavatube.Then the good kick and flavour will be back!

Once it's burnt, likely a goner..But you can try boiling the cartos and see if it works..No promise thou as if the internals are burnt, that's it..
So far all my boge cartos are doing okay..
After jumping from eGo-T to LT + M1A1 Tanks(With Boge XXL Cartos), aint looking back..Of cos still got my ego around for overseas and shopping trips..
