This is the web page for the Atlantis 2 tank : Aspire - Aspire Atlantis 2 They make 3 different coils for it. The power used for each coil is different.

The rule of thumb for EVERY vape device you'll ever own is the same. Start low power, take a draw and bump it up to repeat. If it starts to taste funny, gets too hot or tastes burnt, back it down. Different flavors will have different sweet spots so you just have to experiment.

If you have the Kanger Subbox mod, it only goes to 50 watts. When you click the fire button the led screen should say what the coil resistance is.

I think you're safe to go up a bit, but first check the basics - make sure the coil head is screwed down tight into the base and that the tank is making good contact with the connection on your mod. If that's all as it should be, take it up a littke bit at a time and see if the vape improves. If you don't notice a difference, or if you're getting burnt-tasting hits without getting any more vapor, you might want to try a different head - you may have a dud.

What kind of kangartech u got ? UOTE="jgutman6, post: 16522279, member: 266420"]I am pretty new to vaping and have a kangertech with an atlantis 2 tank that i just bought. I believe this means it has a .5 ohm coil. I looked up online that means it should be used with 20-30 watts. However when I do that not much vape is produced. Is it safe (i guess is the right word) to increase the wattage so it works better? Thank you.[/QUOTE]

First, make sure it is the .5 coil...they also make a .3 which would require more wattage. The resistance will be displayed on the screen of your mod (depending on which mod it is). Second, it is safe to crank it up quite a bit more. If it's the .5 and you're still not getting any vapor by 35-40w, then it may be something else
