I'm curious to see what the experienced people say. I've never heard that. I can't imagine why you would need a battery to sit before use.
Well, that's a first for me. I've lost count how many posts I've read on batteries and have never heard of it.
Good luck and Happy Vaping!!![]()
Never heard that either. If your batteries are warm after charging and you are a chain vaper from hell then it might be a good idea.
I found an article in the library here that strongly recommends a rest period for batteries after charging: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/129569-rechargeable-batteries.html
I am a believer in always being safe over sorry lolI guess that answers it. Seems from the link that there is no definitive proof but circumstantial suggest to rest them before use. Good safe practice. Couldn't hurt and I guess its better to be safe than sorry in this case. Thanks for the links and info friends!!!![]()
The guys at my local shop really seem to know their stuff. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.Great to read where a local shop knew their stuff. I walked into a new shop around here and overheard employee telling a first timer she didn't have to wash tanks before using them out of the mfg box. Newbie asked about cleaning the coils as she heard others talking about it making them last and taste better. Employee told her that was "bunk and not necessary...just replace the heads which we sell here".
I've never let a battery sit after charging. Once i pull it off the charger, it goes right in.
I have a Vamo V5 myself, and have never had a problem. Granted, I don't use it as often as I used to since I got my MVP 2, but it still gets used now and then.
The question is this: What batteries are you using? It could be something in the chemical makeup of the battery, as well as the brand. There are a few brands of batteries that people have reported problems with, so that might be the case here.
