as well as a few other folks on this sub-forum. I had read the forums for a few days trying to decide how to approach the whole e-cig thing until I was pretty thoroughly confused and torn in different directions.

I posted my delimma and Rosa and a few other veterans were nice enough to chime in and give me the nudge to pull the trigger. So I ordered my starter stuff and expect my order to come today. At this point, I have no idea how I'll fare, but I'm determined to give it a serious try knowing this---at the risk of being overly dramatic---could be life changing.

As I view the newbie forum I see many folks in my same boat who ask similar questions and have similar concerns. In the midst of it all is Rosa and a few others patiently answering questions (often the same ones) and giving encouragement. So Rosa, in case you've wondered, you are very much appreciated! Wish me luck.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on your decision,
As long as you are willing to do this, you will succeed. We all know that not everything is smooth sailing all the time. So we learn to roll with the punches and get it done. Your body will thank you for the rest of your life for quitting smoking, as will family, friends, and maybe pets if you have any.:)
Sure, there is a learning curve and you certainly can make it around that curve too.
Rosa is probably a great example of the caliber of some of our ECF members. It's "how we roll". :thumb: Soon, you will be able to PIF to new members too.
Best of luck and check in daily.

Yes indeed, thanks to Rosa for all her work here.
It is crucial that we have veterans come around to help the newbies.

And the cycle needs to continue.
As the newbies become veterans, some will be needed to keep the cycle going.

Thanks also to Dormouse, CSKent, JCNewbie, WomanOfHeart, Stosh, and so many others.
Thanks also to the previous generation, such as Scottbee, Cozzicon, Kent C, and Mistress Nomad.

And of course the generation before them, who I can't remember at all.
(But a special shout out to Jim Davis)

Leaving names off is a crime, and I wish I could remember them all right here and right now.
But mentioning the ones I can remember is better than not saying anything.

At least I hope so.
:)
