I have the worst luck with solder it is rediculous, thats what takes me so long to produce mods......I can't get solder to stick to the positive on the batt connector and at all to the rca jacks that I use for my usb option that I make everything. the only way I can get them to work is if I solder wire to wire around the positive and around the negative.......how do I resolve this, any suggestions would be greatly apreciated. thanks in advance

Wal-Mart helped my solder stick to the battery atty connector. They have a pretty cheap $14 soldering iron. and I love that pointy tip. Even has a spare tip.
Works which I found those $5 ones only solder wire together. So for a good start get a decent soldering Iron. They are worth every penny honestly.

Seems you have to get those battery/atty connectors good and hot for the solder to stick in my opinion.

To avoid melting the insulator remove the positive connection & insulator from the connector. A clean & tinned tip helps a bunch. Tin your wire. Flux the connector and apply a small drop of solder to your heated iron. Touch this molten drop of solder to your connector. This will bridge between the iron and connector heating things up much faster. This drop of solder will eventually adhere to the connector. Now another drop of solder on the iron take the wire and touch all three (connector, wire, solder tip) together. Every thing should flow together then the trick is to remove the iron and hold the wire until the solder solidifies. The positive connection is a little easier (remove the insulator) but basically the same. If you have a good joint it should be shiny.
