I have 2 mini Vivi Novas and 2 3.5ml Vivi Novas. I notice that when I vape the mini for a while, its out of juice before I finish my cup of tea. When I have the full tank though, that thing lasts forever. Whats the deal with this? Its only 1ml difference but the time difference is intense. Do the smaller ones retain heat better or something, giving more vape per hit? Am I crazy?

Well, I don't have the small VN yet, but I suspect this is kinda like the one about how long it takes for a pot boil when you're watching it. I've got one coming next week. Will be interesting to see for myself.

I dunno, I'm beginning to suspect theres something up with the minis making them burn through liquid super quickly. This morning, after my 'wake up' ritual, I made myself some tea and sat by the computer with a freshly filled mini checking email and whatnot. An hour later, my mini was down to ~.5mls left. Filled up a 3.5 tank, worked out n whatnot, and have been vaping since. Hovering at 2.7mls right now.

Realized that I was using 4.8volts on a 2.4ohm head on the mini, and 3.8volts with a 1.8 head on the full tank, so I kept them consistent as an experiment today, both with 1.8 heads firing at 3.8 volts.

The mini burned through the liquid much quicker than the full. Don't know why, but these little guys really love ejuice. I've gone through maybe 1 to 1.5mls on the full, and the better part of 2 minis today, both receiving equal vape time.

I'm positive if u put 2ml in a mini and mega nova and vaped the same # of hits from each the mini would be empty long before the mega. Either way my new protank sips juice like a dainty old lady, gives more th and flavor and never needs tipping so maybe try that or an evod / T3, etc cuz Plumes is right, all vivi's are apparently juice hogs but the mini's def the worst of em. and no aheadatime, ur not crazy. or maybe we both are...idk...get a protank :D

i think ALL vivi novas use juice up faster than other methods.
i don't own the minis but i use the big tanks a lot and thats the 1st thing I noticed when I used them the 1st time

same here that is the exact same thing I noticed when I got mine last week, it's a juice pig

My protank is riding along with the mailtruck right now trying to find its way home. I'm very excited everyone seems to love them I hope I do too I've never used a bottom coil but the concept seems sound so I think I will be happy

I was using vivi's and drippers but won't be using either anymore - this thing is flawless so far (w/ the slight exception of the airy draw but after a day you get used to it and the vapor production is the same or more than w/ a vivi) and requires nothing more than filling it up when the juice runs low. Put 5 tanks thru it already and its vaping like it did the very first hit - no cleaning, no tipping, not one single dry hit, no gurgling, more flavor...it's next level stuff, seriously. Def get one if you're a vivi fan, chances are u won't go back. Plus like I said it sips juice...lasts at least 50-100% longer than it does in a vivi.

ah u might be onto something there lol, mine supposedly holds 2.5...the 3rd line says 2.0 and where the 4th would be is the top and they call it 2.5.

Strange. On my mini, the 2.0 mark aligns with the bottom of the white vinyl cap inside & is the highest marking. My large viva is actually an aClear clone, marked a little different than the standard VNs. Actually don't trust any of the markings, wish they weren't on the tube.

Probably will, but waiting for someone to try rebuilding the head with cotton, if even possible. Once I tried cotton on the vivas, never going back to silica, taste is much better.

my 2.0 line is 3/4 of the way up the tube. idk doesn't matter, my vivi's have been permanently retired.

Yea mine read 2.0 right about where the wick comes out of the head. I fill them more than that though, almost to the top of the silicon cap (just barely enough so that it doesn't flood the top). I'm careful with the first few hits so as to not tip it upside down or anything, and I've found that this gives me an incredible vape for a while until the levels dip a good way below the wick. On the mega tank though, it seems like an eternity trying to vape it down past the wick level. Fill it up good and full, and it stays that way for the better part of the day.

Will be getting a Protank, but I'm letting the dust settle first. Want to see everyones "a few weeks later" responses and they're out of stock everywhere anyway. I'll be keeping all of my Novas anyway though, great little tanks and I want to experiment with rebuilding the wicks myself.

All I can tell u is I've been using mine exclusively for 3 days straight, went through 6 tanks so far and haven't cleaned it once or even wiped it w/ a paper towel (I hate the constant cleaning out the drip tip hole in a vivi), had zero dry hits, no hint of a burnt taste, it's stayed upright the entire time and the flavor and throat hit are vastly superior imo. The only thing I can see being a negative is if the heads die quickly but failing that it's basically flawless (except for the airy draw which u quickly get used to).

Also dropped it from fairly high up onto a glass coffee table yesterday and it just rolled over and smiled at me so I think it's pretty solid, no real reason to wait until the dust settles but thats understandable, ppl get new stuff and hype it, just how it goes, all I'm saying is there's not a whole lotta hype here the way I see it, def worth the $20 if you can get one.

I tried cotton wicks in my vivi btw and it tasted like wet dog...supposedly that goes away but I didn't stick around to find out. Maybe try hemp I heard that's better.
