Quickly get rid of flavor in atty for testing flavors?

How can I get rid of a flavor in my atty so I can try a new one?
I read some tips about this a while back but I have no idea where they were.

It's hard to try out new flavors/juices when I only have a limited amount of attys.

Blow it out then drip some plain PG in it and vape. Add and vape the plain PG until the flavor is gone.

I only have one atty at the mixing/testing table.

Could VG be used instead of PG? The only PG I have is the base used with my nic. Thanks Hoosier

Yeah, thats all I do is vape plain PG through it and continue to the next flavor. Works for me.

Am using the standard Ego T B type atty atm, when I blew mine out I did it very well, but did not drip VG on it first, rather I just dripped the flavor after blowing it out.

I got a burnt taste rather quickly, but when I filled a cart up a bit and put that on I was able to taste the flavor well without the burnt taste.

Is this because I didn't clear it with VG/PG first or was I doing something wrong? I was dripping directly onto the wick using a long needled bottle and put about 3 drops onto it.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Not meaning to sound like an ...... or anything Wren, but an atty that is meant to be dripped with would serve you much better than a T, or even a C type.

A bridgeless 510, a good quality 306 like a Cisco or Iken, or speaking of Iken I really like his I06 which is like a 306 but wider and a tighter draw. You may be amazed at the difference.

BTW: Wrens are one of my favorite birds.

I only meant that I was dripping to test flavors that I am DIY'ing, not as a smoking style.

I'm actually looking at some cartomizers as my next experiment.

Now, 510's fit onto Ego batteries, do I understand that correctly?

Right. 510 and 306 will fit your eGo. Each takes a different drip tip though.

A good dripping atty and drip tip are an important tool at the mixing table.

Good point. Only my I06's have a bridge and I usually use a bridgeless atty at the table. That kinda's stuff slips the mind once in awhile...

(Even with a bridgeless some flavors will really hang without the plain PG/VG flushing vape, but most will clear off without a flushing vape without any real effort other than taste vaping and ignoring the first draw.)

Cisco on high wattage, 13+watt, or just high wattage in general, it's just that not all atty's can preform at high wattage w/o burned taste, Cisco and IKV's can!

i posted in another thread about cleaning attys. run apple cider vinegar through it using a home made adapter and syringe then flush it with hot water. allow to dry and then vape away.

I've been doing this so long that I forget what I didn't know back when I didn't know.
