I've been vaping a little under a month and just realized today that my caffeine addiction has mysteriously disappeared. I've been drinking water instead. I'm not sure if I was drinking the Mt. Dew to cover the cigarette taste and no longer needed it after I switched or if the increased water consumption was due to the dryness caused by vaping. Either way, it's a win for me. Anyone else have this happen or am I the strange one?

Before vaping drank 10+ cups java per day but cut it down to 3 cups when I found out the vaping and java was putting me into severe dehydration/ putting a damper on my vaping experience. Also used to drink Coca Cola- hate the taste now and prefer water, water + fresh squeezed lemon and non sugar/ sodium fruit drinks.

THats another thing with me, there's almost no such thing as too sweet! I love sweet tea, the more sugar the better, since my taste buds came back after quitting analogs I love Mountain Dew even more cause I can taste all the sugar, I drink Kool Aide regularly with twice the recomended sugar XD

But I also love Juice boxes, I guess I'm a 21 y/o kid lol

Before I started vaping, I used to consume three gigantic mugs (one pint capacity, nearly three times the capacity of a standard six-ounce coffee cup) per day. Since I was making it, I brewed the java thick enough to stand up a fork in it.

Now I'm down to a standard six-ounce coffee cup per day, usually in the morning. And some mornings I forget. The mud I brew now is no longer strong enough to melt asphalt.

So, no. your experience isn't unusual.

Hmmm - after getting a Keurig coffee machine, I feel like I drink more coffee and I've been vaping for almost a year now. I still love Dr. Pepper too. I think if there is something you really like the taste of, you like it even MORE after quitting analogs. It's not so much the caffiene (for me at least) as it is the good flavors I was missing!

Mountain Dew Throwback right? :p I haven't had any Dew since I switched. I suppose I might grab a bottle while I'm out. But once I hit my 30s, I had to cut back on all that stuff. Too many calories. A 20oz bottle of Dew is like 250cal right there. Back about 10 years ago I drove for a courier service in Orlando. 200 miles a day on average for about a 10 hour work day. I would easily consume 6 - 8 12oz cans. In the morning I would buy a cold 12pk from a gas station and load as many as I could into one of those little power port coolers (LOL, almost called it a cigarette lighter) and go for the day. Now I get my caffeine from other sources. Coffee and tea mostly. And the occasional coke zero at work.

My coffee habits haven't changed since I started vaping. I have a Keurig as well, and while getting it didn't make me drink more or less per say, I found that I was drinking more regularly. And not wasting as much. I live alone and my AM routine is maybe 2 16oz glasses of iced coffee now. BK (Before Keurig) I didn't want to make the coffee as much because I was always wasting the extra.

Throwback is the best but I can never find it in 1 liter bottles so usually stick with regular dew for the larger bottle( paying 1.59 for 20 oz compared to 1.89 for a liter it's a good bit cheaper, and Ima cheap guy XD) but when I buy for my home supplies it's always a 12 pack of throw back

And I guess that's what's awesome coming from a family of high metabolism, I eat more at one sitting than most families eat all day and still stuck at 120lbs, couldnt gain weight if I tried my dad's 45 still eats like I do if not more, and is the same 140 lbs he'sd been since 16 lol

In my teens and 20s, I had a pretty high metabolism. In my 20s I couldn't get above around 130/135# at around 5-10. Now I struggle to keep myself around 165. I know the beer doesn't help, but I grew up in Germany ... beer won't go away in my life. But now that I am feeling better in general, I am considering joining a gym. I've already cut out a lot of useless calories. Coke Zero if I have a soda, splenda when I make my coffee and tea, etc etc.
