Hey guys, so I bought an eGo C Twist with a Protank 2 and 30mL of Logic Smoke Menthol 24mg eliquid. Well the liquid was a bust. I've smoked 1-2 packs a day of RYO unfiltered cigarettes and the Logic Smoke was WAY too harsh for me. Had a little ...... moment with putting an O ring where the air vents out. Fixed that and borrowed some Hawk something or rather (MtBaker) from a friend, and I'm pretty much just enjoying myself. Only thing that bugs me is how skinny the eGo is in comparison to the PT2, but I guess I'll find something different down the road. Thanks for having an awesome and informative forum.

First thing I would suggest you do is find a Kanger AeroTank base for your PT II. The PT II bases tend to leak sometimes but the AT bases are the only thing I've found that fixes it and it massively improves the performance. And welcome aboard, good luck on your journey!!
but im sure the protank2 will grow on youI haven't had any problems with the Protank now that I know how it works. I tried to fill the PT2 from the mouthpiece hole and that went all kinds of crappy, so I had to clean and dry it all out and then follow the instructions to load it upside down. Once that was done and everything was good to go, I haven't had any leaking problems. I think I'd be looking to do a bigger battery rather than a thinner tank. I like the amount of liquid this one holds and it feels fairly substantial and hardy. Thanks a lot guys. 18 hours, no cigarette. And we begin.

Hi gprestonmoto, welcome to ECF and to the wonderful world of vaping. You will feel so much better without the analogs. And vaping not only tastes better than smoking, it is WAY more fun. There are times I feel like a kid again. I get a kick out of vaping that I wasn't getting from smoking.

You'll find what works for you best down the road. For now, You seem pretty content with just the ego battery and PT2 besides the size difference. If you fancy tube mods more than box mods, The Innokin SVD has got me off stink sticks for good, And the heftyness of the device definitely makes me feel secure about the durability an the design. My Aerotank looks like it was made just for the SVD and works together marvelously.
Plenty of juice options out there so don't be discouraged by a less than great brand. Personally I order from MBV all the time and have had nothing but great results. I think so far i've only had two bad juices from them total. They have so many juices available and let you have options of PGVG ratio flavor shots etc, not to mention the prices are outstanding.

This isn't as easy as I thought it would be. I had my 80/20 menthol diluted a little with some no flavor vg and was doing ok, but started feelin' that urge. My buddy filled me up with some 50/50 Hawk Sauce, back on track. This stuff is glorious.
Have you thought of topping the twist with an EVOD tank. My first rig was an eGo Vv2 and an EVOD tank. It is still going today. It is slim so when installed on the eGo it is kind of in line. It also fits in the side pocket of my carpenter's pants and handy all day! Welcome to ECF and welcome along the journey!
Thank you for all your suggestions everyone. I think I'm going to try and source an Innokin iTaste SVD somewhere, maybe secondhand or maybe I'll buy new. I'm not really in any rush. My ego-C Twist has lasted about 12 hours on a full charge so I'm pretty happy with it. I really need to search so I can learn to rebuild the coil though as I don't want to spend the money for new coils every week or so.
I realize it's not a big deal, but I'm cigarette free for 3 days and pretty damn proud of myself lol.
It IS a big deal!! Good for you. I knew at the end of the first day of vaping (and with a simple GreenSmoke cigalike) that I was done with smoking and was proud of myself. Once you don't have a cig for 3 days, you are really on your way. Yay YOU!!!
Thanks a lot. This is awesome. I want to upgrade the battery to an Innokin iTaste 134. I dig the look, but don't like the tank. Is it better than a PT3? The tank I mean. I want to stick with Kanger and I really like my PT2 but I want the dual coil for higher VG liquid and better burn. I feel like the combo will be on point. I don't mind buying coils as opposed to rebuilding, but I am interested in making my own juice.
