new to e cigs bad experiences with starting...any info helps have been reading for 6 weeks

Pete, we feel ya man. Sorry, my first ecig was a waste but a learning experience. I loved smoking too and I quit while I was married for her lol I missed those nights outside and morning cups of coffee with smokes always. Lol when I found out she was going to divorce me I ran to the liquor store. I was a few packs in and realized it was stupid to start again but I still liked smoking, so I tried a couple ecigs and wasted my money till i checked out ecf and youtube to see what would fit me best.
My opinion is f those carts and tanks unless you drive alot and don't want to buy anything else. Just take the poly fill out of the used cart and put a drop/and a half on the atty. put the blank cart back on try it. maybe box mod that has a feeding system. With e liquid you have to try a bunch. Its personal. I love tobacco, fruity, and coffee flavors. You might not. I tried a tobacco root beer I never thought I would like and its one of my favorites. Who knew? I haven't found a great all day plain tobacco vape. I like ry4 but it does not taste like a plain old analog cig.

You might want to try the Backo from backwoodsBrew, it was my initial favorite when I started. I started with an 808 also for about 6 weeks, then moved on to a bottom feeder mod. The 808 worked good during the learning curve and helped me find the liquids I liked. For what it is worth, I still smoked 3 or 4 cigarettes a day while using the 808. After switching to a larger battery and lower resistance atomizers etc, I have had about 1 cigarette a week (and then back to the vaping to get the taste out of my mouth). Hang in there, everyone here is proud of you and pulling for you!

Reading the review section, the juice most often recommended for someone looking for a tobacco vape is Vapor Station juices. My sister (who just ordered her kit- yea!) ordered Vapor Station Tampa. I'll let you know how she likes it when she tries it.

well pete, hope all this advice has helped you and not confused the heck out of everything!
all the advice is hitting home. i noticed today if i havent had a analog in a while, and i vape i can taste the flavors. but when i take a drag of analog then try to vape, it tastes like water with a hit of flavor. i am dead set on making the transistion. thats why i am here. the cheap kit that i bought off ebay, it wasnt a loss. i actually passed it on to my best friend. he doesnt smoke that much, but he cant quit. so i gave him a door way and a opportunity to something else.
as for the the tobacco, i enjoy the smell of fresh tobacco, that why i am looking for something in that area to start with. vapor4life threw in some flavord carts with my 1st order and doc pepper happened to be one of them. on my next order, i ordered the juice in 24mg. its harsh, but after a few hits i can tolerate it, but get boring puffing on it. there are so many posts on here its a little hard to reply so i will sum it up and reply in this post.
i sent a inquiry to backwoods brew the other day. he doesnt seem to helpful with determining what would be best for me. so i basically cut that company out of the equation until i find what i like. the parlament ejuice i got from vapor4life have been pretty decent for me so far but the flavor of the juice doesnt seem to stand out.
I know my brain will not be happy until i find something that going to satisfy what i know i need. holding the 808 satisfys feel in the hand. just need to cover, vapor, consistent taste, and feeling going down. i dont need to fill up the whole room with smoke, just need to see a cloud floating around after i exhale.
dip tips, joye, changing resistence and things like that i will try later. just need to get myself off the analogs first. Just a note, i dont have heart pains, its just some weird feelings comming from my throat area, and bottoms of my lungs. these have seemed not to be there when i have been substituting vaping for smoking. so progress so far is a plus.

i read on here a kind of a guide to beginners. stated trying to substitute snus in instead of smoking a analog to see if that helps with the craving. i am also gonna start trying that tommorrow with camel snus.

i really appreciate it. i am trying. i vape more when i am at home then when at work. sad thing is i am able to smoke when ever i want at work so i am guess thats my problem and why i smoke so much in the first place. but i really appreciate all the replys.
i highly recommend getting the tobacco samplers from V4L (there's 2 different ones) using those samplers i found my 2 all-day vape flavors. the Premium Kamel & the WOW Cowboy flavors. V4L is a good company and will make things right for you if you still have any issues.
i have bought the parlament, and wow cowboy parlament 24 mg is very harsh going down. so when i made another order, for the wow cowboy, i tried getting the 18mg. my mistake on the original order adn picked the 24mg. called they fixed it and sent me 8mg when it was supposed to be 18 mg. since my inital order with them its been a nightmare. 2 bad batteries, plus mistakes on cartimizers. the batteries were equipment error, carts i can blame on myself for inexperience.
LIKE I SAID, THEY HAVE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. i will order from them again when i know exactly what i need. but as of right now, i am not happy with the wow cowboy the parlament that i have here, but i spent money on it so i am forced to just try to use them.
I AM NOT BASHING THEM IN ANYWAY. ON THE PHONE THEY ARE REAL NICE, ORDERS GO OUT A DAY AFTER THEY TELL YOU, SO SHIPPING TO ME TAKES 4-5 DAYS. I like how they are curtious to you on the phone and VERY QUICK TO FIX even if its your own mistake.
as for now i am looking for something else, as the 50 bux i spend on e juice and wow carts isnt doing it for me at all.
If you have the 24mg parliment and 8mg cowboy as bottles of juice (rather than in prefilled cartos), you can mix the two together to get the right nicotine level. A 50/50 mix will give you 16mg, which may be in the right range.
Pete, I just want to report back that my sister got her Tampa juice from Vapor Station and very first vape and she's happy with it. They have up to 36 mg juice. You might want to give it a try. Shipping is a little high but it seems to be pretty high quality juice.
I have to say V4L is one of the best companies for customer service. My mom has a kit from there so I deal with them fairly frequently. I'm personally not a fan of their juice. Others may disagree but they have great CS, great sales, extremely nice, but not so much for their juice. Others may think I'm crazy, but taste is very subjective.

did that e liquid make a lot of vapor? I am at a point where, i want to convert over to e smoke, but then i am in a situation where i cant afford to spend a ridiculous amount of money on it, trying to find something i like. I think that these e cig companys should offer super cheap sampler packs. in the long run they have nothing to lose, if a customer enjoys the product, and returns to buy more they succeed in making profits. It would be for customers like me that like to smoke, but dont want to die bc of something they enjoy doing.
