im new to ecigs, once upon a time i did try a version before the e-cig (bought 5, instantly) believing it had nicotine in it, to my frustration i found out it had no nicotine at all in it, and you cant get nicotine legally resold in Australia (though i can bulk import for personal use) they now are all thrown out by now

i smoke, old hold born and have for 15 years, if you are unsure of the brand its the thickest, richest, darkest, tobacco on the market i have been able to find, without a filter. a single paper if rolled right can last over 15 mins of massive drags, and if im drunk enough i can plow though a 50 gram packet in a night chain smoking. normally i take about under a week to get though one since i have been cutting down but that is mood depending.

i don't particularly want to quit smoking but its now got to the point where i have to. i breathe normally using my stomach muscles and my lungs are on their last legs. i tired champax it works by blocking the nicotine receptors in the brain, it allso makes smoking taste bad due to the brain not getting nicotine, it no longer desguises smoke as a pleasurable taste, not good if you want to kiss your girlfriend.

i tried it for a bit and that was a plainly horrible expereriacne. Due to my brain chemistry makeup. namely a chemical imbalance, i have to take medical grade speed simply so it can function effectively problem is, it also blocks your dopamine receptors which my meds along with how much i smoke the end result was constant sweating, nausea, ........ dizziness, severe depression, slugsh movement and reaction times, constant taste of something crawled into my mouth and died, only being awake for several hours of a day before passing out again, and finally where i drew the line, it made me that stupid i could barley hold a conversation.

so i went over to nrt in a big way, gum, inhaler spray packs, all nasty and it worked for a while, till i found an old packet of smokes. that got me stuffed. migrating from nrt back to smokes taught me the dangers of nicotine overdose, which ended up in a hospital visit from hyper stimulating my lymphatic system, leaving me with rather interesting but constant and annoying spasms in my eye and tong muscles.

as you can imagine, here i was thinking ok, spasaming of eyes, epilepsy, stroke, anurisim, meningitis, chapmax had melted my brain ect. it was quite a laugh and relief to find out i just had to cut down on the nicotine. Lesson learned well and full. Now know all the warning signs.

as for smoking end of the scale i believe there is heavy and there is the stupid end of the scale and im somewhere round there...

i have been looking long and hard at ecigs for quite some time now, but its hard to find unbiased reviews and a fair opinion of whats out there

ecigs are almost non existent in Australia so i have to order internationally, problem is that this can take over a month to arrive

im hoping to lay out exactly what im looking for and hopefully someone can give me advice or point me in the right direction

first and foremost the most important part is being able to take deep long massive drags, with the least resistance, that alone is the main focus, and almost certanly is what i will buy so long as the available flavors ardent to rancid.

if there is other options from that, ill then look at battery life, tank size and charging options. (we run on 240v mains power down here but i can get addaptors)

if the main store dosent ship to Australia i can always hunt around long and deep for a reseller that will ship the nicotine and parts to aus i would prefer auto, but can suffice with manual its really a non issue.

i dont really care about price, or complexity. or stepping it up later i just want to infvest in the best right from the start and never look back, no half measures. ill simply buy enough ecigs to last me a day or 2 without charge and enough nicotine to last several months

what do you reccomend? many thanks in advance!

I agree GrimmGreen has a ton of helpful reviews .. I'd also look into PBusardo's Vaping Reviews - YouTube. There is also so much information on these forums to be had and many experienced vapors always around to help us newer folks out. I personally went with a Provari right away and even though I've picked up a few other mods since it is still my favorite. I would recommend watching some of the videos mentioned as well as browsing through the forums here to get a better idea of what appeals to you.

ive been diging alot, and ended up with the Joye 510 since there seems to be no limit on how long i can drag, got 2 for only $60 which i was pretty happy about, and then went and ordered in 1l of 3.6% nicotine, which i belive is a safe dosage for human consumption?

already got my hands on enough sleeping pills to wipe me out for at least 3 days, to get myself though the worst of the chemical withdrawals :)

thanks for the vids it was very englitening :)

i might step up to the provari soon!

Good luck man. Sounds like if you're out that far you may need to plan this out some. I'd say get a VV and a Mech or 2 mech's mods. Rebuildable clearomizers and attys may be the most cost effective route too so you don't have to buy heads or cartos all the time.

Extra batteries and an extra charger. Then you need to find juice. I'd say get 6 weeks worth of various small bottles and figure out what you like. With in 2 weeks you should have an idea what you like and how much you'll go through and then buy some bulk. You will still have 4 weeks of various stuff to get vape through.

Best if luck, just plan it out and have plenty of extra stuff around to get you between long orders.

no magic bullet here friend. first off lower your expectations about the performance of your e-cig. nothing on the market will come close to a real cig. if you go into this expecting miracles, you will be sorely disappointed. don't go crazy. just get a basic starter kit, and see if it helps. find the highest dosage available . once you are successful in putting the smokes down, you can work on lowering your dosage. you have to be committed to stopping. you will suffer withdrawal. more importantly you can do this. if you are committed to changing your lifestyle. good luck .

For unbiased reviews, besides the above mentioned GrimmGreen I can recommend the English chap at e-cig-reviews.com. His reviews are very systematic and thorough.
Otherwise, I would second Tintreach's opinion on getting a vv mod and a rebuildable atty. This will give you the option to tweak every variable (voltage or wattage on the mod, wick type, kanthal thickness and number of coils, etc) to get the preferred TH, strength, taste etc. Worth the investment, as it saves you the hassle and disappointment with tier 1 models. (The difference in vapour production is night and day!) However, this also means that you will have to forget automatic mode, as all current vv mods are manual.
Also, after testing a few liquids with different flavours (as a heavy smoker you may start with nicotine strength above 18mg), you should look into DIY liquids, especially if the supply of e-liquid in your area is limited. This way you can stock base liquid set at your preferred nicotine strength and add only flavour when you want to make a new batch, or want to try a different taste.
With regards to flavours, I can recommend cigar flavour, this is what I found closest to dark tobacco taste. Others were too sweet for me. However, sooner or later you may regard e-cigs more as water pipes (hookahs) not cigarettes, that may help you accept fruit flavours faster. (I vape only fruit flavoured e-liquids now)
Hope this helped. Good luck in quitting analogs!
