Well LD, you look like a fine gentleman to me and your little girl is a darling. Any man who would take on the responsibilities you have and successfully manage them is okay in my book.

And I think you have a pleasant, honest and kind face and don't see how you could possibly have any bad intentions or be be cruel to anyone. These women who doubt our sincerity and caring just don't understand what loving, kind-hearted souls we are.

Let's form a circle and join hands with the thought of winning these women over to our side.

Alright, I will join this circle but the first time someone starts singing Kumbaya, I'm out!

I believe you! Anyone with your adorable daughter and cute dog is clearly a good person. Just don't let T corrupt you.

Look in my eyes. Do I look like I could have any bad intentions? Do I look like I would be cruel to anyone?

Believe it or not, she was at work with me that day. Right before a holiday, or during a school break, we will sneak our dogs into work. Abi wasn't at school that day. She is very protective of Sparky too. One of the other dogs just looks at him a little funny and Abi will scoop Sparky up to protect him.

So Maureen, I've only had 2 analogs all weekend. I think these T's are helping actually. Much easier to use when moving and almost as good as a carto. I will say about 75-80% as much vapor. Once my next 6 30ML's arrive and the equipment, I may be able to break off of that last smoke. Also, I will need to see how I do at work.

LD....I gave up smoking at work in week 1. I digressed for a bit but still didn't smoke more than 1 or 2 while at work since Oct of 2009. I found that my hardest cigs to give up were 1) after 8pm (this was the worst) 2) 1st cig of the day with coffee 3) In the car while driving.

I think more than anything I had a fear of not smoking. Unfortunately I gave myself permission to smoke on the weekend. Instead of two packs a day I was at about 2 packs a week. I purchased my last pack on Wed the 19th and smoked two wednesday and two thursday and something clicked. I didn't smoke at all on Friday and was okay through Friday night (not jonesing for once). I decided on Saturday that unless I started "jonesing" for a cigarette I wasn't going to smoke one. I still have the pack in my pocket and am halfway through day 11. I was quite shocked to make it through the first weekend. I think that as long as you don't give up you can quit completely. It WILL happen. I took the less pressure approach and I don't know if it would have worked any other way for me. I've also come to remind myself of the way I felt when I used to bug for a cigarette. I don't want to feel like that anymore or have to feel that again if I start smoking again.

Thanks everyone for all the support :)

Actually I made the mistake last night of letting my sister smoke in my car....I had to make her open the window all the way to stand it, but I guess that's not a bad thing. I've found that it's fine in say a bar or something, but in a confined space like my car I wanted to roll my window all the way down and stick my head out....

11 days Maureen. I'm truly impressed.

Have you got to the point yet that you like the smell of your hair, clothes, house and vehicle?

Does anyone other than myself notice something similar????

That was just mean! I am not awkward looking like he is!

Oh, and thanks for this. Now no one will get it out of their minds. MN will never want me now! *sniff*

I'm very proud of you for not smoking in 11 days. Were you okay with your sister smoking in the car? I guess what I'm asking is did the smell of a cig make you want to smoke or did it bother you?

Please don't drive with your head sticking out the window. :)

The smell in the confined car really bugged me. I actually couldn't believe it...I've gone outside with her and it wasn't an issue, I've been in bars between two smokers and it wasn't a big deal, but in the car without the window all the way open it was driving me nuts....

LOL, I've said it a thousand times, but non-smokers used to really upset me with their attitudes back when I smoked. I just couldn't understand and knew most of it was just a big act because I was smoking. And I knew deep in my heart that if I ever quit smoking that I wouldn't be like them ...

now I am.

I am trying my best not to be....especially since my mother was one of those "coughers" every time I would light up.

Unfortunately of late I've been either so exhausted that I'm going to sleep early, or so exhausted that I'm up until 3am and can't sleep. I hope this goes away soon....

I was having a problem sleeping the other night and took a couple of Tylenol PM. Problem was, I couldn't wake up after! Slept over 3 alarms.

Yeah...I've had that problem without the tylenol pm's....and I set three alarms....two of which are on a dual alarm clock that is 23 years old and shrieks like a banshi....still doesn't always wake me up....or sometimes I wake up and turn it off and don't remember doing it...

You can ask anyone in my family....I'm not the nice person I am the rest of the day when I wake up....

You sure your entomology degree isn't something you paid 59 bucks for online?

Oh, oh, that sounds like more than a hit with a volleyball.

But I'm used to it. My wife knocks me right out the front door and I wake up in the front yard all the time. That's how I became an entomologist ... from laying out there in the weeds studying insects.

Nice The Rest Of The Day ....
Bwaaaaaaaahahahahahahah, like ... yeah, sure.

Yeah, the entomology degree was a lot cheaper than the Ph.D. and I didn't even have to tell them about my two jobs. I just told them about the bugs in my front yard, sent them my money plus shipping and handling and got my degree. I don't understand why all these people on here whine so much about studying and getting a degree, it ain't hard.
