I am a vet and drink plenty of water so yeah no excuses on that

cigarettes dont seem that bad anymore besides the smell

I had this a long time ago when vaping. Are you using high VG or PG liquids. It turns out I am allergic to PG and that was causing my issues.

Try some of the the above advice, before going back to smoking.. Sure hate to see anyone go back to the nails for the coffin... Good luck and thanks for serving our country. My husband is also a vet from the Air Force in Viet Nam and has cancer from smoking.... We are combating two different types at the moment. He just finished the small cell in the lung with chemo and radiation. Now we start with the bladder.. So think before starting back and good wishes to you.

Yes, more likely than not, you have a sinus infection. An antibiotic should clear it right up. Between poor sinus passages (inherited) and a severe accident (kicked in the face by a horse), I'm almost like an expert in sinus infections.

Please see a doctor for that. And please don't go back to smoking. If you can't vape with the infection, I doubt you can smoke either. Try some patches until you feel better.

And thank you for your service.

oh forgot the specs

i sub ohm .2 ohms, at least 70 vg to 90 vg - I make my own ejuices, this has been going on and off where i get the red nose for a week and then its fine for a few months, the congestion and green flem has been going on for about the last 6 months to 8, no infections

i read (i think on reddit) that some others had the same symptoms but everyone kept saying the same thing, drink lots of water but i drink 2 gallons a day, not joking

May want to give the environment of your service, consideration. Not saying that it did/does have any effects. Not saying it did/does not either. Am saying it is something I would think about, maybe even inquire with docs. Honestly, how sure can one be that such an environment would not be a factor? Food for thought, no reply needed.

Also agree with comments already made about going back to smoking. Think it is a bad idea to return to smoking. Ultimately though, this is not a choice anyone here can make for you. It reads as though you are already making the choice regardless. You seem to be posting to ask for advice, but have already decided, seem to want a fight over it. Sorry, not here to fight. It's your choice. Everyone, always has a choice.

We can offer advice. Still remains your call. So, thanks for letting us know you want to smoke. Fine, go smoke. Nice to have met you for a brief two seconds. See ya. Off on my way to keep on vaping and living accordingly and enjoying my choice/s. Enjoy yours.

What pg VG juice ratio do you use and how many ml a day?

maybe try to ease up .
try a 0.5 ohm build.

what does 'no infections' mean? your symptoms sound like infection to me; maybe fungal infection from not cleaning your drip tip or something.

Reading more about self diagnostics, and no affirmative actions toward corrective measures.
Just keep doing what one assumes may(or may not) be a problem, then suddenly place blame(possibly incorrectly) and use as an excuse to make a worse decision.

Sorry, but a negative reaction is a good indication you may be doing something wrong. Wrong can be corrected - IF corrective measures are applied.

For some .2ohm, 30ml day, 80%+ VG, chain vaping is not an issue. For others it just will not work.

Are you using a Mechanical mod? A regulated cranking 150-200w? Yous still leaving out pieces of your puzzle.
Are you an active person or, like me, disabled and fairly immobile?
Do you Vape in sessions or ALL Day Long?

A) See the Doctor
B) Take corrective Actions
C) Track changes and results

well I have been doing this setup for almost the whole year I've been vaping, oh and when I said vet, I mean I didn't just start vaping recently

I have been doing DIY for the last 2 months almost but even when I was buying from companies like mt baker vapor this was occurring. My nose gets sore alot, sometimes I taste blood when I brush my teeth at night and in the morning, but remember I do drink ALOT of water so no clue

the mucus in my nose is a light green yellow

I was using mech mods and now I use a box mod at 75 watts, don't see how that matters though

the only pg I get now is only from the flavorings since I DIY

as far as me saying going back to cigs, I said that because I honestly didn't have any side effects from it, 2 packs a day, 23 years, just ran out of breath when I ran which isn't alot :)

I weight lift and have a healthy diet but that's it.

I also chain vape about 15-30 ml a day but that is because I subohm so I am constantly dripping
