Hi everyone,

New vaper here - like many of you i've gotten into vaping as an alternative to cigarettes and i'm finding it great!

Does anyone else have the R-Steam Mini mod from the smok One Nano kit? I'm having an issue with it using temperature control with the included stainless steel dual coil where it goes into temperature protection within 2-3 seconds of pressing the fire button.

I'm running it at 280 degrees celcius in temp mode and it's set to the dual steel coil setting at .25 ohms which I believe is all correct. If I turn the temperature down I get virtually no cloud at all and it still goes into temp protection mode.

I feel like I might be missing something obvious here - any advice? :)

Regards,

Jayson

No advantage really in vape quality and taste - Ni and Ti coils are easier for the mod to power in TC mode as they have a large change in resistance as they heat up - SS only changes very little, making it harder for the mod's chipset to track the change.

Most people find the flavour profile from SS coils to be better, or at least the same as Kanthal etc.

You could always try cleaning the old heads, and then drying them out, if the wicks are dirty.
