Raf-a-licious by AVE

Ok got an order from Alien visions today and I had got a sample of Raf-a-licious with the order (not free I bought it). Now just so you know I am a BIG Gorilla juice and Boba's Bounty fan and I pretty much had decided those 2 would be my main GoTo juices. But I have to say now I think I have a third GoTo ,always want on hand juice (will see how I feel by the end of the 12ml bottle)

How to describe this....If I had to use a one liner to describe it I would say a it is a Sweet moist tobacco , with a threads of creamy caramel and maybe a hint of Vanilla. Whatever it is it is Delicious!

I agree wholeheartedly. This stuff is good. The base is the same as Boba's and Gorilla but with caramel and vanilla instead. It's not a typical RY4, it's Alien Visions RY4. This really can't be compared to other RY4s because it's so unique. I highly recommend this if you like Boba's and Gorilla.

I got a free sample with my order a couple of weeks ago. I liked it so much I ordered two bottles of 24 mg. and I have been vaping it like crazy for almost a week now. Cant seem to get tired of this. It definently says tobacco when I first draw on it.When I have almost completed my draw It changes to caramel hints and tobacco.When I exhale and let it come through my nostrils it becomes both .I guess its like RY4 but very different than most RY4 I have tried. It has that flue cured tobacco taste to me.Then it becomes much more sweet but not too sweet. The vapor production is grande. This 24mg has a noticable burn in my nostrils , I suppose thats the nic strength,Maybe?
I really like this Rafa. I recommend it to anyone that gets tired of vaping liquids that are too sweet.

Couple of questions. What was the PG/VG mix? What device did you use to vape with? Does the product vape clean or clog your atomizer? Was vapor production decent? Is it like an RY4?

I am a fan of Bobas myself. I keep think I should try other AVE flavors.

Hey Newbz I think this is 100% VG? At least on their site tobacco is under the 100% VG section. I use a Ego Battery and with Raf-a-licious I have been using one of the vortex 2 cartomizers from gotvapes. I think the juice is a little thinner than Boba's and I am not sure about how clean it vapes but in the vortex I have filled 3 times so far with no problem. Vapor production is really good. I have only tried one RY4 and it may have some distant relation to Raf but not really.

I have been vaping it on my Bullet with a 18650 and a Boge LR cart and no clogging.Nice vapor,nice tobacco taste with a little hint of sweetness like caramel at the exhale.
I also vape it on my Mantis with 6V with a Boge regular cart . That makes it way more tasty and warm.It seems sweeter at 6v to me personally. It still has an initial tobacco flavor up front ,then the sweetness creeps in when I exhale.
I think this is 100% VG . I really like this juice. It has not clogged my gear and it hasnt changed personality on me yet. I think Ben and Raf have got a winner here. I dont usually go with VG becuase of its thick viscosity but I had no choice with this juice and it was a pleasant surprise. I really like the throat hit and the vapor will fill the cab of a truck thats for sure. Sometimes I have to roll the window down and let out some vapor so I can see the road.
Five days on the same two carts and no funky buildup or residue,running clean so far.

Not a very detailed report... but heres my take on it.

Raf-A-Licious : 5 Stars
I Dont think its a smack you in your face flavor like Boba's or Gorilla Juice but with that being said... Its an amazingly smooth and dimensional take on an RY4. I personally noted Maple and Tobacco with what i thought to be chocolate instead of vanilla. I'm lovin' it. I hope the tobacco comes out a little bit more. But its a great tobacco blend that could definitely be vaped all day!

I think it's easy to compare to other RY4's... Very classic RY4 flavor IMO... To me, it tastes almost exactly like the Riskee, Dulcis and Taboo formulas. It's close to Ikenvape's RY4 Gold... In Ben's signature base it really comes alive and tastes a bit sweeter.
It performs beautifully.

Great juice. This is what I was waiting for from AV... a classic RY4... the flavor is almost indistinguishable from LX's PG Taboo...

Has anyone had Taboo, Dulcis or Riskee that can agree or disagree with my taste buds?

As soon as AVE has it up for sale again, I'll order some, try it out, review it on the RY4 thread, and chime in here.

From the previous posts in this thread (a number of which have suggested that the juice is unique and definitely non-standard compared to most RY4s, perhaps because of AVE's tobacco base, and also the poster above you who tasted maple and chocolate), I was expecting something substantially unlike the current club of "classic" RY4s (Janty, Dekang---Regular and Extreme---Dulcis, Taboo, Riskee, and Elixir).

Maybe folks posting on this thread have had mainly the sweeter, more caramel-rich dessert-type RY4s. In any case, I still expect to like Raf-a-licious a lot. Now if AVE will only sell me some...

I completely agree with LT. This reminds me exactly of Taboo with AVE's base.
It is pretty complex and does deliver a decent TH on first inhale so I think many will enjoy it.
I have, like Bill, been on the RY4 mission lately and this one is pretty fair.
If you like AVE and you like non food type RY4's........ You will like this.

I got no caramel at all IMO, which I would consider an integral part of most RY4's.

This is a fine RY4 juice, I get a bit of a light airy texture and an Analog feel to it a bit with this juice with that old style RY4 taste that I remember from the original Dekang RY4 days yet a bit of something new. A very light hint of caramel but not to much like many have. It's not a real complex juice but a simple one with a vape that strikes me a bit different then other RY4's I've vaped. Its nice to have an RY4 in a VG Base too, theres just something different about this RY4 and I like this juice, it's a WIN for me.

To me, Raf-a-licious tastes like Christy's Capp with Flue Cured added in. I love both flavors. Sweet but not too sweet, the tobacco flavor really comes thru. Another great Ave juice!
