Random Kayfun Thoughts - Airflow

I was goofing off at the lunch table with the family trying to fit a drinking straw to vape through into the Tobeco KFL+ drip tip well for laughs. I couldn't get it to fit so I started looking for other tubes that might work - while looking I took an instinctual vape from my tip-less Tobeco and was amazed. The draw was more airy, the flavor was improved.

In short, it vaped better without the drip tip. Later on I noticed the opening on the ProTank II Mini tip hole is wider than the KFL hole - it works better for me than the stock tip.

I have a Kayfun 3.1 I ended up swapping out the drip tip with one off of a kanger areo tank. I stock kayfun tip felt like i was trying to pull a golf ball through a water hose.

I use a flat[ish] black plastic tip I got with some Joyetech gear a while back on my kayfun.

I prefer flat when puff-puff-puffin

I cut off the end of my threaded kayfun drip tip, then beveled it with a dremel. That alone really helped, but what really opened it up was drilling out the center airhole. I'd like a little more airflow but I don't think there's anything else I can do.

I use a shorty wide bore stainless tip. Plus I drilled out the air hole to .070". Made a huge difference.

I have 3 Kayfun Lite Plus with 2 being authentic and one an EHPRO. Really like them. I did replace the drip tip on the EHPRO with a large inside diameter drip tip I had purchased and like much better. I have the new authentic Lite Plus vesions and the drip tips aren't too bad. I'll probably end up replacing those as well with larger inside diameter tips. I haven't had any issues with the air adjustment screw on any of them. I get plenty of draw with screws at top of base but depending on the juice I'm using sometimes screw down just a bit.
