That's funny sir, had to look it up myself. Half the time he does not mention what the prize is but I have yet to hear of anyone who sent it back. You are correct about them being fun.

If I was the one to do it, I would keep rerolling new numbers like he's doing. Else, let's say the random number is 2450, now you need to search for 2450, 2451, 2452, 2453 and also 2449, 2448, 2447, 2446, until you find a winner both way and pick the closest one or the one that posted first if they are equally apart. Sounds to me it could take a long time.

It would certainly be quicker than 200 number pulls, and as I alluded to earlier, the game changes from pure luck to one with a bit more strategy when it's closest to whatever number is chosen.

Having done many of Sir Morandir's contest I can attest to the fact that he holds fairness and integrity above all else when it comes to picking the winner.

I don't think I've seen anyone state otherwise.
