I could bring home a different guy from the bar every weekend.

I could support the socialist party.

I could work at an abortion clinic.

I could wear S&M gear to gay pride rallys.

I could be a member of a satanic coven.

And that is all fine, because this is a free country and we are all entitled to our beliefs and have the right to make our own choices.

But light a cigarette (or vape, because "it might as well be smoking") and let the moral indignation roll!!!!!!!

That's because when people say they are in favour of freedom what they really mean is that they are favour of their freedom.
Yeah I know I understand that there are extremes on Both sides

The ones that want people to stop smoking in the privacy of ones own home

And the other where they think they should be able to smoke in hospitals/nurseries/and gas stations +P

all of your examples either are biefs or actions with members with the supporting view.... it doesn:t take away from anothers freedom

where smoking could invade the opposings freedom not to be exposed

I know there are exceptions and people can take it to far, but I commented on that in my first post here

That last bit actually reminded me of what my late father did in an airport one day. He was waiting for me and my mother at the Newark Airport in NJ and I guess he was nervous so he started smoking his favorite Newport cigarettes. The funny part? No one said anything to him for smoking at the baggage claim INSIDE the airport. I admired his rebellious ways.

ANYWAYS, back on topic: It's understandable that smokers can't smoke in a hospital or places where they can put themselves and others in danger (Ex: Smoking at a gas station is very dangerous in case someone tosses a lit cig at a puddle of gas) but it seems very unfair for vapers to not vape in bars and other places, just because people are ignorant.
