Raptor chip?

Could someone please enlighten me to this dual 18650 mods that are coming out with these chips? How does this whole set up work. I'm I mistaken thinking that by using dual 18650 batteries, I would have a 60 amp limit? (VTC5). I keep seeing these box mods and I am just curious how they work

They are limited by the safe amp limit on the chip.

The 10 amp Naos Raptors go up to 60 watts safely without frying
The 20 amp Naos Raptors go up to 120 watts safely without frying
The OKR T-10 10 amp go up to 50 watts safely without frying

Although you can push the wattage above the recommended specs, it is not advisable due to reducing the life and potential hazards to the chip.

You need batteries to safely support this amount of amp draw so 20+ amp batteries like the Sony VTC4s, VTC5s, Orbtronics, Efest 35 amps are recommended. They also need to be used and charged in pairs.

When looking for a box mod, be sure to check for a safe amp button. All should have a potentiometer to change your voltage safely.
